passing without pushing a button

Maybe it's the settings, but sometimes my players pass the ball without my command. And it's not the "extra pass" feature because I know how to control that. IT's more like I'm controlling Joe Johnson. I command him to pick up the ball. As soon as he does he just passes to whomever.

Is there a way to fix this?

did you press a off-ball button or something?

no, i didn't. I think it has something to do with a roster patch b/c it wasn't a problem for a long time until I started trying out various roster patches. I finally settled on Jimmy's patches. I set my off-ball button to the keyboard b/c i have had a bad habit of triggering it when i didn't want to.

There's a glitch with Direct Pass that seems to trigger player lock mode at undesirable times, perhaps that's what your experiencing?

This is one of the bugs in live, I have faced something like that too, its pretty annoying.
