Computer crashes after...

Postby RKO on Thu Dec 28, 2006 4:57 am

I had this problem for like the past month, but I never really got a chance to post about it. Everytime I play either NBA Live 07 or Madden 07, my computer crashes. It just turns off and then turns on the same second. I restored my computer, too. But the same thing happens. Does anybody know anything that is causing the problem or anything that could fix it ?

Thank, SAballer

Could you like share your solution, cuz I seem to be having the same kind of problem and I can't figure out how to solve it. Like I mentioned in the other topic anytime I play NBA 2007 the computer freezes and turns off and on. NBA is the only games that behaves so strangely so I assume it's some kind of software problem.
Thanks.
BTW I don't think it's overheating problem. I checked the temperatures of CPU and GPU and they seem all right.

yea no problem...

the problem that I had is that I tried everything to fix the game (restoring the computer and all that stuff, re-installin Norton Anivirus, because I though that that was giving it problems but all of those things were fine. So I decided to clean out my computer (processor). I opened it up and there was a LOT of dust inside it and in the back of the proccesor, I actually took pictures with my cell, so yea...try doing that and see what happens...it took me like 30 minutes..to unplug everything, clean it out, plug everything back in and now everything works fine...NBA Live 07, Madden 07

i've found a way to fix it but i think it's against the nba-live.com rules even tho i think it should be legal...but this fix is the only way you will ever be able to play dynasty mode in 07

Thank you for you help in the first place.
Finally made the game work. It turned out that my g.card is a bit too overclocked and NBA does not seem to like it. Restored it back to default settings and there it is. All the other games were running without any other problems though.
