EA Link game crashes to desktop

I downloaded the game from EA Link and installed the fixing patch. But NBA Live 07 crashed every time I quit a game, no matter what mode I play (game, season, dynasty). I tried the solutions in other posts, but nothing works. I can't uninstall en reinstall since I downloaded it. Can someone give me a clue? All necessary technical requierements are OK.

I have the same issue. I contacted EA numerous times. all there "Solutions" proved useless and didn't work either. I am very frustrated as I cannot play a dynasty or a season, which is the point of owning the game. I should have just went and bought a copy!

I've been having this problem too. EA has been giving me the usual ideas for fixing it that didn't work, but one idea they gave me today finally did work...but it's a pretty ugly solution. The solution was to disconnect all of my game controllers and play with the keyboard--I went through hell playing one game like that, and when it was over, I clicked quit and....no crash to desktop. I wrote back to them with the results. Hopefully they will reply with a solution other than "play with the keyboard" because it's impossible for me to play without a game controller, it just takes the fun out of it! Maybe that was info they needed to know in order to fix it, but it worked for me. Dunno if it will help all of you but thought I'd share.

Dear Doogul, I only have a keyboard to play with. But the problem persists...
I even changed all my video settings, but no effect. I'm getting desperate...

I'm still desperate as well. I even upgraded my video card from a geforce 5600 128 mb to an ATI Radeon Sapphire 9550 256mb. Awesome graphics, but still crashes. This is getting riducoulos! I can' t believe they haven't patched this, as it seems to only happen with Direct Download.

Yea I got the EA Link thing also and mine has been crashing since I bought it. That's why, even though I was one of the best online for the last two years, I've only played Live 07 about 7 times. There is no fun in Live if you can't have a Dynasty

Unfortunately it's not only the link version...I bought the fucking DVD Rom and it also crashes whenever I hit 'quit game'...

Same here.Make no damn sense to sell the game like this.Basically product doesnt work.They have to do something about it.I wish i can take my shit back to the store
