hi i need some help when i try to change lebrons AWAY shoes they don't change they just go back to the lebron 3's.

is this a problem with my game or did i not replace something right?

That's one of the bugs that plague the game. If you wanna change the shoes in-game, you can only get the home shoes to be accurate (by selecting them as the away shoes ).
Otherwise, your best bet is using DB commander or excel, open appearance.dbf in your My Docs/NBA Live/saves/roster folder, and change value manually.

how do u find lebron i forgot how to do that

It depends, do you a shoe patch, like lookvod's for example?
Otherwise, try 31 for home and 30 for away, might be the default ones anyway.
