Changing Total Freestyle Control

For a player with multiple abilities(ex. 3pt shooter, highflyer), how do you change from one to the another? Simply pressing spacebar(the key i assigned superstar trigger to) doesn't do it.

been discussed a dozen times.. press superstar then offball.
