game won't start

help, ive posted a few monthes back but there were no answer, so i just didn't play and now ii want to play again and same problem. everytime i try to play it says please insert the correct cd. My game is real and i don't use any illegal items. i have a legitimate cd key. It just won't start, couple of ppl have this problem too but all you guys says is that they don't have the real copy. I even went back to the store to get another cd, but the error is still persistent. I know it's somefing with my computer since i tried to install it on my friends computer and it plays but just not my comp. Does anyone know what's wrong, is it my dvd drive or not enough ram. I did all the things in the error file in on the cd, it tells me to install again or like clean out the temp files, but nothing works for me . so please can some one help me ahahhh
