Is it possible to perform backboard-alleyoops elsewhere...

I was wondering if it might be possible to perform the backboard-alleyoops (R3-Button) which you can do in All-Star-, Rookie-, One-On-One- and Practicegames in all the other game modes by patching or editing the dbf-files???

If so, can somebody tell me what I might have to edit or make a patch?

the way to do it is thought aiact editing.

Last year i tried and actually got it mapped to a superstar ability but it still behaved as a pass, not an alleyoop.

it is possible, ill say that, but im sure as hell not working on it

If you designate every regular NBA team as an All-Star or Rookie Challenge team (ie change their TEAMCODE in teams.dbf), you should be able to select them in All-Star Weekend mode which will allow you to play an exhibition with regular NBA teams and utilise the self alley-oop. That's not a Dynasty Mode compatible solution though.

i dunno if you remember but i did that for 06 and 2005 but for some reason the teams didnt show up for me in the All-star Game this year. It's weird.
