Can someone explain me how to throw good free throw?

I'm plaing NBl 07 on pc, and I don't know if i have to push on the down button and while i'm keep pushing it pressing the up key? or should i leave the down button before pressing up?
In the second throw it's seems like the down button has no affect, do the
right and left buttons are instead of it?

All free throws should be down and up, I got fed up of that method, I just hit the shoot button and let the probabilities do the job lol!

should i press down and hold the down key, till i press up or left it?

hold it down and as soon as the ball reaches the top of the shooters head you push it up

Sounds to me like he's asking how to do it with the keyboard, not a dual-analog gamepad. Just a guess.

yes i'm doing it with keyboard, i've wrote in the first post tham
i'm playing on pc.

just press the shoot button and rely on their freethrow stats. but if you're using ppjoy, hold the backdown button then press spinmove. if you're using the lakers, andrew bynum has a horrible 29 FT rating and i suggest you download ppjoy.

it's very easy to master the new freethrow though. so i just press the shoot button during freethrows to be more realistic except when im down at crunch time.
