Season Mode: Lineup Problem

Postby MacYaoStro on Wed Nov 29, 2006 5:19 pm

Has any of you guys run into this problem in season mode?

I tried to change my starting lineup under Roster Management, but when I played the game the starters did not change accordingly.

It's weird that I am having this problem... can somebody shine some light and wisdom? lol

I experience that problem before, but as the game crashes after completing a game(still not fixed), no reason for me to play the season anymore.

They auto sub the best rated player at that position I guess.

I´m also having this problem...
I was going to start a season today, but then, i noticed the bug.
I'm playin' with Jimmy's Roster Patch, and this happened with my squad and with the CPU squad as well..

Does anybody know how we can fix this ?

There's no start percentage screen in season mode.

Well I haven't expierenced this bug, but just manually put together your starting five when playing a game. It's just a few clicks to get the right lineup.

Starting Lineup Problem

Postby TexasAG713 on Thu Nov 30, 2006 12:33 pm

I figured what the problem is. No matter who you place on your teams or the CPU's starting 5 in reorder rosters, the game starts the highest rated player at each position. For example, if Andre Miller is rated 84 and Earl Boykins is 85, even if you reorder Miller as the starting PG, Boykins will start all simulated games and the games you play unless you change starting lineups in the screen right before the game. This lies true even with your user controlled team. I adjusted some ratings for players to give real life starters at least 1 point overall more than the bench player.

hmm...yea the only thing i can do at this point is to adjust the CPU's team lineup everytime or try to edit their positions in the edit player... but after you adjust the CPU's starting five, then you go back to use your own team...and you will see for some reason your starting lineup is kinda differnt from the one you suppose to have (like the starting before you adjust the CPU's starting five). So like i am using LAL, sometimes Odom will get replaced by Cook, or Parker would get reaplced by Farmar. Therefore, i had to go back and forth to try to get both team's starting lineup correct...which is a little troublesome :(
