Go to Options>Preferences and see if the commentary volume is on, if not turn it up

Or, you may be using a Warez version of the game. Ages ago I downloaded NBA Live 2003 to try it before I bought it, which I did, and that had no commentary. If thats the problem, go buy the game.

my commentary vol is at max lvl but there is no commentary volume <on:off> option

I dont think there should be an On/Off function, or at least I havnt noticed one...

0 = Off

Are you using a legal version?
