How to convert jerseys from 06?

Does anyone knows a way to convert 06 jerseys to 07? I got a lot of great retro jerseys which I wish to add to the new game, but converting them to 256x256 format is not enough and I don't even see the jersey preview.

you have to export the live 06 jerseys in dds format , reduce them to 256x256 and put the right alpha files into the 06 jerseys, save them and inport into the 07 fsh jerseys file...

Could you tell me how to make 07 jerseys work in 06? I'm not familiar with the difference in formatting and I'm stuck.
