Seriously has anyone in this whole forum found a true solution to the PG domination issue. If so please tell me which solution works the best. I need 100% assurance that the solution works correctly.

You don't need any aiact or dbf files, but the edited teams.dbf and playmap.dbf files do help. The first thing you need to be able to do is push the pg when he tries to drive, you gotta get to him before he hits the 3 point line. Use another player other than your PG.

What I do is go to my playbook then defensive matchups screen. Set the pressure to HIGH for the PG. I then switch my controller over to the cpu team, set their team strategy to either Power C or Power PF, depending on thier best player at that position. Even if their number one player is a SG or SF, they will still shoot the ball more than the PF or C. Then I go into offensive playbook and set the opposite play of the one I chose for "team strategy". For instance, if I chose Power C for the "team strategy", I will put Power PF for the first play in the offensive strategy screen. Then I set the next play for their best guard or forward, I choose either scorer SF or SG, sometimes even PF. For the third play I set another play for their big man, or their secondary scoring option. For the fourth play, I just go random, something like Balance or Options or Triple Threat.

Along with doing that and playing tough defense on the PG, I haven't had a game where the starting PG shot more than 15 times. The CPU will still drive, but when you stop them they will be more likely to give up and run a play or pass.

If you are still having problems stopping the PG after trying that, I suggest turning up on-ball physical defense, on-ball assist, and double-team effectiveness and tweaking other sliders, especially if the PG makes alot of jumpers.

Remember, the PG will still get the ball back during the play, and he will try to drive, thats why its important to be really good at one on one defending, or control a bigger defender and double team or cut off the lane.

Good luck.

Masking the purpose of a thread with the subject '??????' is a dick move. This will be a warning. Use the already designated threads, or find another forum please.
