He wants to say that if you change the away shoes they will go back after you save because a bug. Hopefully EA's going to fix it in their official patch.

Yes. appearance.dbf is the file you want.

c-mart, see, i'am changing them this way:
for example i want as home shoes - white j-smoove's, as away - he's black!
after u need:
1. save your roster/dunasty
2. go to desctop, open dbf editor
3. open players.dbf and appearance.dbf
4. find in players.dbf player who's shoes u want to edit
5. remember he's ID
6. find in appearance.dbf this ID and go right to the column (...hshoes , smth like that) it's home shoes - u'll see there number(it's your home shoes), the next column is away shoes (good for u if u've made this far)
7. remember the shoes u want to set as away! in my case away j-smoove's are before he's home's! so in the away shoes column i write num of home shoes -1!
