Running Set Plays

Hi all. I remember for '06 that the off-ball button was used to indicate an arrow for your PG when you wanted to run a set play. This allowed you to freelance a set play based on your intuition and made it very easy to run plays without having to memorize every team's playbook. Anyone know if that's doable this year as well?

No, I believe they removed that feature this year for some reason..

They removed the feature claiming set plays now can run from any starting position.

The reality is set plays don't run in '07.

wow...this year is really disappointing IMO =/
not only can i not run set plays, but everytime i try to pull off a freestyle move with my scorers the defender just ends up bumping me and i miss layups even...while i always see the computer pull off an amazing cradling layup etc etc...

time to go play fifa

what are u talkin about?set plays do run except theres no circle :roll:

The plays run, they only removed the diagram, you can run the play on either side (weak, side, strong side or at the top of the key) its automatic in 07
