Having black socks for away and white for home? Please help.

As far as I can remember, since Live 04, I've had automatic black socks whenever my players were away and white when they are at home. So I always make it a point to give my players black shoes for their away games. Despite that though, the socks in away games still seem to be white or gray-ish. How can I fix that? I tried all types of socks in the game and I can't get it to work.
