HELP NEW PATCH online ISSUE!!!!

Hi i hope some one can help with this issue!

ive just applied the new patch for 07 and now cant play online!! when trying to logon i am gettin a message from ea saying my edition is out of date and to obtain the patch from the ea website!!! the patch still cant be downloaded on their website though!!!

Is any one else havin the same prob and does anyone now how to fix this?

patch itself works fine and cpu now subbing as norm

just reinstall the game.....And wait for the offical patch. i had the same prob

its kinda reassuring to know im not the only one with this prob. will wait for the official one before applying nxt time

im new to nba and have only played a few times online. gameplay and strategy is certainly alot different than playin dynasty mode, dunkin seems to be the key to winning, but i find this kinda boring.

can anyway say whether shootin becomes easier the more you play online? do i just hav to get used to the lag,? im finding even the easiest pull ups really hard online at the mo and am rather disheartened

The game is frustrating. Dunking is totally overpowering, layups are overpowering, there's no way to stop either of them no matter how good your defense is. Speaking of defense, or lack thereof, EA was lazy with this too and just added bumps, you can still get to the rim at will with anyone just by running to the rim and riding your defender off. The game also purposely makes you turn the ball over, and the CPU players just stand there. On top of that it's far too easy to steal the ball away from players. Shooting 3's in the game for some reason is rediculously hard, most games you'll be lucky to go 2-14. EA didn't do anything to improve NBA Live whatsoever, and to compound the problem they left bugs and glitches galore, which is going to kill their popularity on consoles accross the board. If NBA2K were to go to PC, they'd plunge NBA Live in a heartbeat.

cant say i'll be playin on line to much then if thats the case, there appears to be very little skill required to win! this is vey dissapointing considering all the hours i have put into the game!

fouls are completely annoying as well, seems impossible to block your opponent and you always get called for a charging foul! Argh!

im hearing lots about this 2k7, im seriously considering gettin the p2 out and buying a copy of that!

on another subject , anyone know how to throw the ball off the camera or tv screens in the slam dunk contest? not that i play this much due to more bloody bugs!!!

it really is very hard to stay pleased with this game!!!!

synner, if you're playing with a dual analog stick controller use the dpad right and the hit the right stick right (i think) is throw it off either the crane cam or the jumbotron...go google for it, there's a guide of all the dunks some places online. And although everyone else is complaining about how ridiculous this game is...i've yet to have a layup/dunk problem any worse than past years (that is excluding FSS which is just silly) ....

sweet thanx illini, i will give the slamdunking another go later.

the only prob i have with the slam dunkin comp is that the ball will sometimes drop like a deadweight when throwing the ball off of the clock, ive only played live 06 before and had no probs whatsoever with that game!

on the whole i think 07 is a very good game (ive played it everyday for the past 3wks ), but feel the game could have been great if not for the bugs etc.

i now cannot play the game online at all. ive reinstalled the game and it still says i need to update before i can play online, yet the patch has not officially been released yet! WTF!?!

i know a few people have had problems playin on line with the patch applied, but is anyone else havin this prob after reinstalling the game?
