how can i edit nba lives roster spots? there are 15 spots and 3 of them "inactive"...i like to have 5 of them inactive.

I dont think you can

Why dont you keep the 3 inactive and give two players DNP's?

It can't be done, sorry. As Mr Knick said, you'll just have to utilise a ten player rotation leaving a couple of players to pick up DNP-CDs.

is it possible to delete players what were not created?
by editing players.dbf ?

The easiest method is to change a player's TEAM and CASH_TEAM attribute to 32 (the Retired pool).

my intention is to delete all free agents...i deleted every player in players.dbf (the one of my saved roster) who had a "50" in TEAM. when i start the game and load my roster, there are still all the FA :( ... but in players.dbf they dont exist anymore

does anybody know what im doing wrong ??

Instead of just deleting their lines in the DBF, do as Andrew said and change every players TEAM & CASH_TEAM that is currently 50 to 32.

That method isn't effective. As Flite just reiterated, changing their TEAM and CASH_TEAM to 32 is much more effective. Since you've already deleted their entries in players.dbf you'll probably just have to start again with a fresh players.dbf file.
