Q. If locked as a player, the CPU does not auto inbound. Inbounds are only done if one presses the pass button. This is a significant gameplay issue if one is locked as a power forward or center.
A. This is working as designed. We added the ability to call inbounds plays this year and this change means that if you are player locked you must receive the inbounds pass. This also is not going to be included in the update.
If you lock on a forward or center, on an inbounds play from the baseline (for example after a made FT), the PF and C are always across half court. That means to inbounds, you have to run your forward or C towards the other end of the court, and generally have to complete at least a half court pass to beat the five second count.
The person who answered this question expects us to believe that is by design? It is by design that this "new feature" for inbounds plays means we always have to inbounds to the same player if locked?
Having to always inbounds to the same player if locked, and if the PF or C to have to throw a half court pass is not a better feature. It may not be a bug, but it is poor design and should have been fixed. "Hey, just play this mess of a game and maybe next year you can shell out another 40 bucks for inbounds plays that work" isn't reasonable.

I can't stop laughing at this. I'm so distracted by the thread title that I can't be bothered to figure out what the post is actually about.
Oh boy.
