Instant replay problem (changing the camera angle)

Postby ImDuncanOnYou on Tue Oct 10, 2006 7:01 am

When I'm in instant replay and I click the button with my mouse to rotate the camera angle it works fine. But when I try and do it with my joystick it only responds some of the time. My joystick works fine because I use it ingame for fss and it works and have also gone into control panel to to make sure my axis' are right. Anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem. Don't know what to do. Screw EA.

Yea I hate that shit. It really hurts cause I like to sweep the camera around sometimes when recording replays. That is not possible with this game, and I would have to keep the menu up to do it with the mouse. Not only that, but you can't zoom in on any camera, they are all start at the max zoom, but you can zoom back in if you zoom out first.

Same for me, too. Maybe they'll accidentally fix it with the patch *muffled laughter*

well isnt there a shortcut for the replays where you can use the "orbit" with the mouse without the replay bar there?

I don't know of any shortcut. The only thing I can think of is using one of those button mappers/profilers to allow the right analog to control the mouse pointer, but you would also have to map a button to left-click. I'm not sure what would happen because the game would be reading both the normal right analog movements and the mapped-mouse movements at the same time.

Lets just hope they fix it. :)
