Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

Most the power fowards, referees and coaches have these "holes" in them.
Anyone care enough to offer an explanation and how to fix it?
I'd be very thankful to anyone who does.

What graphics card are you using?

I'm using a GeFroce 4 MX 420 or something along the lines of that.

Might be the reason I guess. It's an on-board card that must be really struggling with a new game like this one.
The holes in the bodies are still very weird, but I'm thinking that your card cannot buffer enough information to reproduce all the textures...

Shades of Nba Live 98 in that picture..lol
You're gonna be pretty much screwed on this one until you pick up a decent card. If you're strapped for cash, and want to go the cheap route, a quick fix while saving up for something better, then pickup a refurb card from newegg or something.

Its not top of the line buy anymeans, but Running live would not be an issue anymore. You'll even get the plastic coating on the players! lol Good luck, bro.

Thanks for the advice guys. I know (and most of the people who've seen my dynasties before know) that my grahpics card is fairly dated to say the least.
I want to get a new one, but that means reaching into my own pocket and using my own money to pay for it. I simply don't have the money at the moment. I'm sort of putting any spending on hold until I can build up my cash because I'm sort of a money-control freak when it comes to spending stuff.
I guess that means my Live dynasties will be on hold until then. I really hope theres another way around this. It's bad enough that my graphics suck for the game for the past few years now, but its entirely different thing when they're missing bits and pieces of their limbs...

I wish i were a money control freak too..lols
yeah that card wont make the cut, but if you really wanted to buy a card for live 07, maybe you can get a refurb 6600/6600GT theyre kinda cheap nowadays..even an old RADEON 9550ee or an FX5200 might do (or any card that has shaders for that matter) the only downside is, these old cards wont make the cut for most other modern game and may only last you till live 08/09..

Just make sure you dont spend too much if you finally decide that you want to take the plunge. Just keep in mind that vista and directx 10 are coming around the corner pretty soon. My trusty 9800 pro (soft modded to XT) has been chugging along faithfully for over 2 years now. Once vista comes out, Im gonna drop about 2 grand into my new baby... Im a bit of a ATI fanboy so I hope that Crossfire works alittle better then than it does now...lol.

i'm an ati fanboy too... i used to have a 9800pro and now i have an nvidia 7600gt... boy i miss ati tray tools and the monthly modded drivers so much...
anyway, don't even bother with Crossfire or SLI unless you're gonna use a huge screen (20''+) and an ultra high resolution (1600x1200+), cause on the more common resolutions (up to 1280x1024) the best single card outperforms any SLI / Crossfire (unless of course you are doing the SLI of the two best single cards).

Hmmm, now if it were just Julius Hodges then it would make sense.

heh... got AtiTray Tools running now... I love the autoclocking setups, I have it set to play the and engine revving when its OC'ed, then tires screeching to a halt when OC somes off. Lol, I'm so gay. Good point, Ive been looking at the X1950XT with drool hanging from my lips. I have the money for the system now, but it just doesnt make sense to upgrade before vista. For my monitor im using the 24" widescreen that my job provided me with.

What you are experiencing is graphics artifacts caused by an overheating video card. You could replace the fan but with a card like that save up for a decent one on newegg.com . When I build my new computer i will use this one i found its decently priced.

Waiting might pay off dude, The new batch of cards is coming out soon, and i assume you should be able to get an 1800pro for the same price once the brand new ones come out. I already have a 128 bit card, my upgrade is definitely going to be 256-bit.
