I think it's because they have no default shoe. I went in the edit screen to change his shoes and to see if they were like that and they were all white. Instead of default it said no shoes. so you probably just have to change the shoe ids in the players.dbf or the appearance.dbf. I'll try and edit the shoe #'s and see if it works.

appearance.dbf. I just changed the id's to 0 (default). Some players had high numbers from using a shoe patch in 06 so that is why they showed up like that. If it still show up as the ball texture go to the edit player screen and change the shoes there as well(dont worry if the shoes do not change in the edit player screen). Then save your roster and load it back up and the shoes should be fixed.

Is that Renaldo Balkman? If so EA never created a face for him so that is why it is like that. From what I have seen players who have no cf or wrong shoe id's etc in practice have the ball texture and in a game or edit player screen have a differant looking texture. i've also seen the shoe texture flashing back and forth from normal looking shoes to the ball texture shoes in instant replay in practice mode.
