I've played Live games since 95, but ... I don't know how to play in 07. I know it sounds stupid but... I try and try but I can't do anything, I can't make layups, dunks, I can't do a "Decent - nba live" post game...

Or this game it's so different or I'm just as dumb as everybody says... Can you please give me any tip ? I just can shoot threes by now . Anyways I don't like the game, but I want to learn to play it !!

lay up dunk and shoot is three different buttons

It's obvious he's playing the game anyway. It's a simple change -- we change everything else -- let's not get out of hand now. If the choice is to play with Gasol unable to dunk or to click his Dunkpack in Edit Player from 2 to 3, are you really going to choose the latter and say "It's not my job to clean up their mess."? Sounds like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Anyways I tried in the PS2 version to see all the bugs you've reported, and I have seen lots of them, but in the PS2 version Gasol and Rasheed dunk normally without editing the dunkpacks.

My point was that I don't know how to play this fuckin game, I've been trying yesterday and today (about 4 hours each day) and I don't have any clue on how to win. I can't play midrange because picks suck, I get blocked everytime I try to approach to the basket... I just can shoot threes. Or EA was wrong or I suck hard this year (I won the 2005 summer online tournament in .org we organized , so I know how to play Live games, but NOT THIS ONE !! )

Yeah this game feels kind of weird. I'm also a long time Live player, since '95 I believe. And you're right, the picks do suck. Heheh. I'm slowly "re-learning" how to play though, and its been pretty fun. If there's ever a patch to solve the fatigue/CPU-substitution thing, I'd rate this game "good".

Agreed. While it's a simple change, my point is that it's not fair for the consumers to fix up the mistakes of the producers. Maybe I'm complaining that Gasol can't dunk without a simple tweaking may elicit overreaction, but complaining about the substitution bug is fine and well? Either way, this year's version sparked a huge following of consumers that are fed up with putting up with the bugs, and I'm not lenient to let it die down.
