xbox360 wired controller support info with solution

Okay, after reading through the other threads, I think we overlooked something.

In the configs folder, theres a file for the xboxwired controller.

This is named controller in the game, and if you use this configuration, it should work with the official MS driver. The layout is the same as the xbox360's Live 07 and works like a charm.

I wonder who's bright idea was to name it "controller". Man, EA has a bunch of retards working for them.

i changed the displayname to Xbox Wired. Its pretty dumb for them to do it like this. If they wanted to have just "Controller" there, they could have made 1 extra file with a basic layout... oh wait, thats generic. BAH EA, BAH!!!!

so with the "controller" setup does this mean that the analog triggers will actually work?

Actually. I think its 1/2 assed. Thats why they didnt name it Xbox controller in the config screen. Most of it works with default drivers.
If you have an xbox360 controller. It will work manually, as long as you use "Controller" to set up your buttons, and use the util that has been posted many times in the forum. Including page 1 or 2 of the petition page.

For some reason, if I use the generic to assign the controls, my player cant move left or right, but everything else will work. If you use controller, then save your own profile, its good and dandy. Maybe other have had diffrent experiences, but thats how I had to do it.

Since I'm suffering through the bugs, I haven't had time to perfect it.

However, Was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them. Under the normal Microsoft Drivers, the right stick works great. On the XBCD drivers right and left on the right stick are switched... even if I change the axis setting in the config area, when i go back to gameplay, the axis is reversed. Anybody else having this problem, and How can I fix it?
