After playing the game (and almost breaking my hands pounding on my table..) I realised that EA didn't put as much work as they should have (or were expacted to) in this year's game.
I also got the impression that a lot of the guys who worked on this year's game are not true NBA fans, hell ,probably some of them never watched more than 10 basketball games their entire life. The rosters are not updated to at least last month's rosters (a lot of players are not even in the game, even drafted rookies) and they even managed to ruin the pro-hop move which a lot of us really like to use.
The next-gen version looks great, but maybe there are other people in the world who are still playing the PC version?? (PC rocks!) They even cutted the textures' resolution of the jerseys and CFs from 512*512 to 256*256, they should improve the graphics every year not the opposite... How hard can it be to spend 2 minutes for each jersey to make it look more like the real jersey and match some colors? (the Bobcats jerseys looks like they were taken from a cartoon..)
The gameplay bugs are the real issue. I mean, we are used to patch all of the CFs, jerseys, courts and other stuff like that but bugs like Gasol can't dunk or the CPU waits the entire 24 second to shoot make my head hurt.
I don't really have trust in EA that they can fix all the bugs posted in this forum and even if they will release a fix, it will be months away (by the time it will be almost next year..) and it will be needed of fixs itself by the awesome patchers in this forum... I just wonder if it's worth wasting our time waiting for the EA guys to start paying attention to the little people who actually play the game (and want to enjoy it too)...
