Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

Generally, I don't pay much heed to criticism after a video game is released, mostly its some lifeless fool whining that Iverson's tatoo is in the wrong place, etc. I have a very high tolerance for bugs, weak AI, etc.
However, I have to concede that this is likely the worst EA release of all time. Simply, it's unplayable, the substitutions snafu is an absolute mockery - I can only liken it to Ford delivering new cars to the lot and realizing they forgot to put on the tires. The game is so point guard centric that the real talents, like Garnett, Bosh, O'Neal, etc. are left to waver in the lane like National Park trees. In the last game I played on an eight-minute quarter against the wolves Mike James (admittedly a ball hog) took 23 shots. Garnett took one, a follow-up dunk
For all the hype, it misses the mark entirely. And that free throw system, how much LSD is circulating among the developers to implement something so stupid as that?
Anyway, I have never posted in this forum, depsite buying the last four installments of NBA live, but I had to let my feelings, I have that much conviction about this piteous product.
So my purging done, a question: I purchased this game at EBGames, can I take it back for a refund or a credit on account of it sucking? Seriously, has anyone done same and does the return policy allow for it? Any feedback would be appreciated.
I am not trying to make a scene here with hopes EA trolls this forum, I seriously can think of many things which would be a better use of $50, i.e. remote control socks, left-handed can opener, four bags of sheep manure, six chia pets, a flu shot, etc.

If you didn't open it, I'm sure you can return it. If you opened it, you might still be able to exchange it. If not, sell it on eBay.

I would sell it on Ebay, but it would only fetch about $1.35, which is exactly what it is worth.

welcome to the forums, nice post.
it's probable that you can return it for some store credit, i don't think you will get your full money back though. it all comes down to the mood and understanding of the store owner...

I'd kill to get 2k7 (or at least 2k8) for the PC. If the target is any of the Live producers/programmers, I'd do it for free.

Has anyone else here taken theirs back for a refund, or have an avenue where I can send it back to EA for a refund?
