Sub Problem Worse than we thought...you cannot make subs

Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

Sub Problem Worse than we thought...you cannot make subs

Postby ignatu on Sat Sep 30, 2006 2:15 am

The sub problem goes beyond the computer not making subs. If the human player tries to sub out for an exhausted starter, the computer puts the starter back in immediately, even if sub frequence is at 0.

Playing the Bulls, Ben Wallace had zero energy but no fouls. No matter how many times I tried to sub him out, the computer put him right back in the game.

BTW, I'm not talking about on the computer controlled team. I'm talking about the human controlled team, your team. If the CPU doesn't want someone out of the game, you cannot take him out.

Exactly!

All I hear is complaining and the discovery of bugs and malfunctioning, all the time. Why not take a stand, and fight for the costumers? Get a note of ALL that is below what you can expect from NBA Live '07. Go to a higher power than the costumer service. Get yourself heard...
Either choose to play or get played

That's the spirit. This is the thing that we all should do. Customer is always right!

Errr.....this has never happened for me. I can guarantee it's not a widespread bug, if it exists at all. Are you sure whoever you subbed in didn't get in foul trouble or something?

It is slower, but personally, I like it. It's more realistic. If you want it faster, I think there's a slider to fix that?

It's slower because the default Game Speed slider is at 40 rather than 50 in Live 06.

shouldn't matter. if you want to play ben wallace with 5 fouls you should dam well be able to without the cpu subbing him out at every whistle. Also, this is with the slider at 0. that means the cpu should not be auto-subbing at all. period.

Oh ok, didn't realize you had User Sub at 0, mine's at 50 even though it doesn't appear to matter. That's annoying that it would auto-sub at 0 also.....it seems like every normal function of the substitution system is set to the exact opposite.

I was able to put Yao on the bench when he's in foul trouble.
I didn't mess with the slider.
I just do what I normal do.
Just turn off the auto sub in playbook->strategy.

The option in Playbook => Strategy is Auto Sub Notify - it has nothing to do with auto-subs, it just displays a graphic on the screen showing who was subbed in.
