You can get it off your dvd in one of the compressed.zip files in the merlin subdirectory.

I forgot something.

I actually forgot to include the tattoo files/fixes in SUM V2. So...

SUM V2.1 Released

Download from NBAVG.ORG
Download from NLSC

Filesize is 9.8 mb.

Key features
------------------------

-Tattoos that I forgot to put in SUM v2
-Missing ebo files to fix problems with courts that display graphics incorrectly.
-Longer FSS replays
-Smoother Instant Replay camera that allows you to go farther over or under a player.
-Brought back Instant Replay mode during the dunk contest.

nice update guys, i especially like the longer FSS replay!

some suggestions for next version:

-can the courts have some empty seats? not every nba game is jam packed so it would be nice if some courts (especially the low teams) have some empty seats. just for realism

-can you make the cyberfaces with open mouths in them? players breathe heavily when playing so they should have open mouths

-improve aiact. ever since i've installed the sum v2 i've noticed that the pg has reverted back to his old habits such as not passing

-make a better practice court. the practice court looks dull, it doesnt have much detail and the ring is bolted to the wall
there's so much to do today that i have to set apart more time to pray

working on that now actually....

we can, but I havent really looked into it that much, but I believe that the lips in the ebo are "sealed" shut.

Make sure you stay in front of that fucker, if need be, improve the face to face slider (or something like that) for the user, or try letting the CPU take on the PG.

I've been working on an ESPN v2 practice court, along with an empty stadium like 08.
Opinions are my own.

fer76, if you have already did what I told you the first time, just install SUM V2.1 now. You don't have to reinstall and do it all over again, but if you do need to install, Zahiras is right.

-can the courts have some empty seats? not every nba game is jam packed so it would be nice if some courts (especially the low teams) have some empty seats. just for realism

I wouldn't know how to do the courts, hope Jao figures something out.

I don't want to have players looking like dogs during the game with their mouths open all the time. Imagine what it might look like when the cutscene shows them talking. Also, I'm not going to apply my time to something like that. EBO editing is hard.

There is no aiact included in SUM V2/2.1. I did release a beta aiact with the camera before SUM V2, and I was told that the pg was actually harder to guard because he would no longer go straight to the basket, but he would weave left and right trying to find an open lane while being guarded, but if you could stop him, it had some pretty good gameplay like players passing out of dribble drives. Only things I didn't like was there were barely any 3 pointers, and the pg took too many quick mid-range shots.

Try this AIACT.

Download

Extract aiact.viv to "NBA Live 07\ai\act" directory. Backup original first!!

3. Install SUM Tattoo Fix.
4. Install SUM V2.
5. Install SUM V2.1

6. In-Game Load roster SUM V2
7. Play

Correct. However, if you already did this for SUM V2....

1. Install Live 07
2. Install SUM V1
3. Install SUM Tattoo Fix
4. Install SUM V2

5. In-Game Load roster SUM V2
6. Play.

Then, all you need to do now is

1. Install SUM V2.1
2. Play (SUM V2 Roster should already loaded from before, but you can always load it again if you need to)

There is no reason to do all that over again unless you messed up your game somehow.

Pdub, your new aiact is an evolution of beta aiact before SUM2?

I play 2 games, with good results.
More pass for the centre and power forward, some great pass after penetration, good alternative between dribble drives and 3pt shots.
Sometimes a player sleep under the basket.

I think this aiact is best of 1.2, just a little fix and then is perfect!
You can fix it soon?
(Y)

Great work with the FFS replay!

Fix what? What's wrong with it?

That aiact is completely different. It's nothing like 1.2.

Not really. Players will have the wrong shoes, and the team and player gear will be different then what is in the SUM V2 roster.

You can use these files here.

Extract them to Andrew's roster's save directory (0708 is the name I think) and run the Accurate 07.bat file. This will fix most of the shoes so the roster will be playable. Some shoes will still be wrong because it is based on an older roster before many of the offseason transactions. You won't get the updated teamgear or player accessories in the SUM V2 roster.

"Sometimes a player sleep under the basket."

Fix this little bug, if possible.
Occasionally, the opposing player remain in ball-handling under my basket until 24 sec, and then shot (and make 2pt)

However, great work, Pdub.

It is NOT hanging. It is performing a batch operation that happens after all the files have been extracted. What it is doing is importing the shoe preview files into the Misc.viv file. There are close to 1000 shoe previews, so it will take a few minutes. Just wait and it will eventually finish.

"Sometimes a player sleep under the basket."

I thought that's what you meant, but you said sweep, lol. Is it just guards or just the point guard? It's usually just the pg usually when that bug shows up. I haven't had that problem, actually. :?

Uhm, i have a bad test-game: in Dallas (mine) - San Antonio (CPU), first game of final west playoffs, the cpu make 27 turnovers! :?
And the speed game (setting at 44) is too much adrenalinic, at intervals confused...
A lot of bad pass alternate with good plays...

Good defense? ;)

Try lowering the interception slider(s). Also, you shouldn't play your playoffs with a beta aiact.
