First of all, great job on the mod.
I've come to realise that NBA Live 07 is pretty playable if you actually played the way the developers thought you would.
After I tried out the SUM mod, I thought the pace of the game changed significantly. Teams were more willing to push on the break, some more than others, and while nice to have, it gets over the top sometimes especially with highflyers. e.g. J.R Smith flying down the court to shoot (more like dunk) 80% for 20++ points.
As such, I find it difficult to actually play defense and I find it easier to win by running and gunning.
I find it difficult to cope with the unbelievable finishes they have on the breaks, and also sometimes the PG driving past me all the way.
(It also sucks that they dunk on me all the time on fast breaks but when i go for breaks and layup/dunk, i am forced into the adjusted shot animation even though the CPU players are clearly behind me and I miss the shot without foul called but i guess that is another story)
I did not have these changes until SUM and so I was wondering if you guys encountered the same things.
Though I do not call alot of plays, my playstyle is to bring the ball up, call many picks, pass in and out of the post to get a good shot. So i believe my play style is not a fast pace game.
If you guys have any tips for me at all, please try to help me out.
P.S, does Freestyle Effectiveness slider affect FSS moves too or just freestyle moves with right analog? And is it possible at all to stop CPU layups (to actually contest the shot and make them miss) when they are right under the basket?
