Will Live 07 support the XBox 360 Controller for PC?

I know Madden 2007 PC does. So I'm guessing NBA Live 07 PC will too. I just want to be sure before I go out and buy one. Can anyone confirm?

jao thx man, im gone try it out, mine is already mapped, for madden, but it wasnt for live so ill let ya know the progress fam!

joe jam it comes like that in the store, yes it can break away, but when u buy it in the store, it's already built for the pc, it has usb port at the end dude, if u had madden, once u install madden, it has a built in driver for it already, but when i tryed it for live i had to use the psx for ps2 controller so hopefully this will work if it does, thats going to be cool.

edit, if i was you i wouldnt buy and off brand controller, for the 360, get the 1 made specifically by mircrosoft! if you dont know just ask to the store person i want a xbox 360 controller, dont let them talk you into buying a off brand, cause its cheaper pay the 40 bux or whateva it is and get the official microsoft xbox 360 controller ( white controller ).

Yea I was gonna buy just the 360 controller by microsoft. What I am useing right now is a playstation controller to usb. How does the 360 conntroller feel it looks like its smaller from the regular xbox controller. But I really like the playstion controller so I dont know if I will get the 360 or not.

and erm i was thinking of getting a controller for 07 since they put fss total control on analog but its too expensive

So does it come like this? or is it USB with no breakaway?

comes just like that, the breakaway feature is good for me cause sometimes i forget that im actually not playing the 360 with a wireless controller.

Can someone show me where i can download the Software for the xbox 360 controller? I went to windowsgaming.com like the manuel says, but i dont see where to download it. I do see a picture of a xbox 360 controller but the link goes to an invalid page. Please help!

It should work for all Xbox 360 controllers, not just the MadCatz controllers (worked for me).

i finally found it when i searched google for it. But now its saying i need Windows XP SP1 or SP2 for it to work. Well i know i have Windows XP. When i click "system" in my control panel it says

can i still download SP1 or SP2??? can someone point me to wear it is? I thought i clicked on a link from MS website that said download SP2 now, and i downloaded whatever it gave me, reset my pc and it still wont let me install this shit! Plus the MS site is going so slow for some reason.

yeah, thats to the same MS software i downloaded before. Thats the thing that keeps saying i need to be running Win XP SP1 or SP2. Otherwise it wont install.

when i try to download Win XP SP2 i get it saying "This copy of Windows is not genuine" and then they ask me "Buy a genuine product key online".


Do i really need to install this software for it to work?
