well they are def PS2 textures, we know that.

I mean the play is amazingly slow IMO, and those player shadows are horrible.

Excuse me as I go play NBA Street 1 because the graphics are better than what I just saw and also cause those videos game this game look horrible and not fun to play at all.

Interesting videos but those who played are total NOOB's, i didnt see anything good from those videos, just bunch of stupid action(playmaker moving the ball and pass then shoot or some funny one man runs from basket to basket) anyway cant wait this game:)

i'm not easy on live-bashing when it comes down to gameplay or franchise issues, but really nobody from EA said that they were going to improve the graphics. complaining about graphics/jersey textures for the PS2 is pretty useless at this point. they already said that they don't plan on improving the graphics on current gen anyway (the "current gen technology ceiling beeing reached" bla bla).

on the bright side the animations seemed smoother which is a good sign and i didn't see an offensive rebound fest.

i really liked the "defender chasing down the dribbler" animation, i just hope these guys were playing on a lower AI level cause it seemed that they got past the defender by just pressing turbo

the offensive play calling / play executing still seems kinda unrealistic and the cpu / players seem to keep forcing shot after shot without trying to move the ball around too much. then again, it might be caused by a lower difficulty level. all in all it seems like a small but worthy improvement, at least for PC gamers that very sadly don't get any other basketball game

I feel really sorry for those without a new-gen system. This is a waste of money for current-gen. They reached their limit a few years ago.

I wish that they would find some people who coud really play the game. Most of my complaints from the vids have to do with the players, not the game. as far as the game goes, it's kinda like old boy said early on in the thread, "I can't see shit in that little video." All these people always crying and complaining about what they see in a tiny ass video that looks handheld camera recorded and being played by people who obviously are not basketball nor LIVE fans. Andrew flew half way around the world and actually got to play the game; albeit, for just a day. None the less, he actually played the game. He runs this site, and not for pay, I might add. He does not work for EA. I do not believe him to be an agent for the capitalistic enemy. He has always seemed to present a fair and decently objective stance where the game is concerned. He returned home and wrote a lengthy review/report which covered the game fairly in-depth. His impressions were favorable. I'm willing to take him at his word. I believe, based on his experience, knowledge, maturity and past here on this site, that he called a square shot.

The first time the human race produces a perfect item, be it a video game or trillion dollar space program the world is going to end. Shit, you can't even get a perfect blowjob. The one you're currently getting is always better than the one you had. Screw the naysayers and haters, the doomsday dwellers, the feces spreaders. It would be so much better if they used their power for good instead of bullshit. It's a video game, for heaven's sake. Perfectly formed, hologram players that ball in 360 degree, free-standing cyber stadiums are at least another hundred years away. LIVE 2376 is going to be the shit! Until then, I'm going to enjoy the games I get right now. And if I get bored or tired and can't stand the game, that's cool. I'll just pick up my rock and go outside and slam on a motherfucker stupid enough to bitch about a game that's not even out and they haven't even played yet. But that's just how I roll.

I don't really care about the graphics as much as I care about the commentary. I think a game with a more detailed, realistic commentary that corresponds with the current game would be awesome.

Man...........all I can say is:

The guys who are complaining are still gonna get the game. If you are that upset, just don't get the game and go play 2k6 or 2k7 those are okay, bt not as good as live.

And finally.......if some of you were smart enough you could see that it ISNT easy just walsing in the paint and dunking or laying it up. It harder, which IS good and an improvement. I think all they tried to show in these really small vids was exactly that! We didnt see any FSS or anything. Just the rebounding that has improved and the inside animations and the fact that you cant dunk on every possession.

That's what the producers said. . .They didn't change much, they just focused on the gamplay. I don't know why people are acting so suprised. These vids still play better than the next gen. I don't know If I'm even considering next gen live this year, I didn't mind 06, and if they improved the gameplay of 06, then I'm totally fine with it!!!
