I'm not sure about brands of gamepads, but any gamepad with two analog sticks is perfect for Nba Live.

if you have got the money, go and get an Xbox 360 controller (Y) it should be able to just plug-and-play, but if you need help ask me

I have the Logitech, and its been fine, as all the right buttons in all the right places for playing NBA Live, i found the xbox style controller not as good as it doesnt have 4 shoulder buttons which I find are quite crucial in Live.

The X-Box 360 controller is big and to be honest ... it looks kind of goofy. The Ps2 style controllers look 100 times better. But I'm not the one to judge. I want to ask, do the gamepads and the X-Box 360 controllers have any differences (what i mean is ... which is better) ???

Well pretty much what I said in the previous post, its mainly the Button location for me that is the biggest and deciding difference.

the 360 controller does have 4 shoulder buttons, the only thing that gets weird is by default turbo is the right trigger (R2) and alleyoop is the Right Button (R1)

using the 360 controller is totally IMHO the best controller out right now, I've always been a PS2 guy, but the PS2 controllers just feel "cheap" to me after playing so long with the 360.
Opinions are my own.

I have never played live with controller, but might start with 07 since we need the controller really with the new freestyle control.

I recommend the standard PS2 controller, I have it to play Pro Evolution Soccer 5. Just buy an adapter (cheap) and it fits into your USB.

I currently play with the Airflo, it has a built in fan to keep your hands from sweating, even though i never use it. The buttons feel a bit cheap, but it works.

My brother has that controller Young Buck. We use the fan though. :D I do like the feel of the logitech rumblepad 2 better though. The logitech is similar to the one you showed T-Mac 91.

I have an amd processor with my logitech and it works fine. I'm not sure what kind of amd it is off the top of my head though.

the logitec gamepad will support any windows compatible processor, whether it be a AMD or Intel

I got my Mad Catz Gamepad Pro (old version) for the Xbox 360 for $8.

It was well worth the price and functions well enough for me. Only problem is NBA Live doesn't recognize the pressure sensitive triggers :/

Madden 07 picks up the 360 controller like gold; it even includes all of the relevent icons to show you what to press, like an icon for the right bumper or the green A button instead of Button 1 or Button 2. I highly assume that Live 07 will do the same. Go with 360 controller; it is very comfortable and durable.
