Tons of new animations....

Ok I'm not tryna mislead anyone but the title is as such beacuse its appropiate for the topic I wanna address. I don't want to make quick judgements on a game I have yet to play, but based on previews n early videos I see that nba live 07 is lackin "tons of new animations". I kno jumpshot forms are in but in order for a game to be as realistic as possible, in game situational animations need to be put in. Going back a few years with another franchise (nfl 2k5), I remeber them sayin they added over 1500 new animations. I thought to myself "oh man that's bs, no new features?", but when I played the game, lmaooo, it was the best football game I ever played (before madden 07 for 360). All in all my questions is when is ea gonna add tons of animations to nba live? last year they say the re wrote to whole engine but I can point out things that r in current gen. To b honest live 06 (on 360) looked good but played like live 05 (on xbox). I hope I'm not jumping the gun since the previews n videos r from an unfinised product (and ea did say they have some surprises u won't kno til u get the game) but I kno the guys at ea read these forums n I just wanted to let my thoughts out and if they aren't in live 07 then maybe live 08 (damn that's a while from now) they cud add some, especially since it would virtually limitless to the amount they cud add thanks to the power of the next gen...

Last year they rewrote the graphics engine, this year they are working on gameplay and adding features back in the game, also its a article somewhere saying they added 5000 new anitmations, I dont know if its true but thats what it said, if I find it I will post a link.

But isnt the 5000 for nexgen because they said that the current gen lacked the memory capacity to include all the animations and signature jumpshots and stuff?

Considering quite a few producers complimented me on the NLSC during the Community Day, said how much they enjoyed the site (and found it useful as a means of getting fan feedback) and mentioned articles and forum topics by name...I'd say yes, they do pay attention to the site and forum.

And...how the lead producer TIM used to be what andrew is today to this site, I figured they listen. I mean he wuddnt forget us wud he?!?!...lol

Anyway I'm excited for live 07. I can't front tho, nba 2k7 lakers vs. Cavs gameplay vid was a beauty too, that kobe jumpshot is amazing. Ummm... I don't mean to start anything but EA u guys shud match 2k n make a lakers vs. Cavs gameplay vid of ur own, show us ur kobe

Signiture individual animations are what will truely bring nba games to a new level, the 2k series has had the same dunk animations since 2k2 on DREAMCAST!!!! i mean seriously, thats one of the main reasons i switched to live...

I had to resurface this topic because til this day I am seeing more n more bad videos with horrible animations for nba live 07. Where is the 5000 animations?...nba 2k7 animations r looking supurb, but I hate the graphical direction, they look like clay models.

Imma wait until live 07 is released but EA, it may b time for a new more dedication basketball enthused animation team....as said before individual signature animations is what this gen is about n I am not seeing kobe playing like kobe with flare, or wade playing like wade with his flashy but BASIC dunks.
