questions for dynasty players

i was sitting at work today thinking about getting my hands on live and i started to wonder how others will play the game. so here is 9 questions for whoever feels like answering. some are bound to be repeats but i dont want to go through 30 topics to get 2-3 answers

1. will you be featureing your dynasty on these forums for all to see?

2. what team will you use?

4. current gen or next gen?

5. what % of games do you play vs sim?

6. do you plan to redraft or keep original rosters? will you alter draft order if yes?

7. now that we know we can actually trade draft picks, do you plan to trade for and stock pile picks or trade your picks away? what would you be more likly to do?

8. any planned trades you will try to execute once you start your dynasty?

9. are thier any players on your team that you consider untradeable no matter what is offered for him?

my answers

1. no. i tried once and failed. i cant even come close to the level of others on this forum

3.shortest length, 12 min quarters

4.current gen, pc

5.i play every game of the season and all of the all star events that one of my players is involved in

6. i will be very tempted to redraft as imo the celtics blew it big time this year but i wont. i would love to but i think it would give me an unfair advantage

7.i will most likly stock pile picks. i definetly want atleast 2 first round picks at the end of the first season. not sure how many the game lets your get at once, but i will try for 3 if i can.

8.i have a few planned trades but not sure who will be involved. i only know that i want atleast 2 of this years rookie players and atleast 1 extra first round pick.

9. the only untradeable player in all of my dynasties is the first player i draft. no matter how good or bad they are i consider them my pet project and keep them til the end or they refuse to resign.

4. Current Gen most likely. Unless people are feeling charitable when it's my birthday in a couple of months.

5. I generally try to play 100% of the games in the first year then sim/intervene more often after that.

6. Original rosters, but I'll probably make changes.

7. I'll try to snare some more first rounders or early second rounders, especially if I've got a good record.

8. Not yet. I think I'll avoid bringing back Shawn Kemp (fun as that's been) and just go with what Pax has put together in real life.

9. Ben Gordon, but most of the core really. I plan on keeping them together.

1. I doubt it. I'll probably be on PS2, and it doesnt really do it justice.

4. Current Gen as i said. I'm waiting for PS3, and after that, i'll be waiting for bugs to get ironed out.

5. I'll sim a lot, mainly because i like realistic totals and i cannot be arsed playing that many games.

6. Original rosters, but Mike Sweetney will most likely be moved.

7. Not sure really, if i can get a first rounder for Sweetney then i'll definitely try it.

9. Kirk, without a doubt. Will also try to hang on Deng, Gordon and Nocioni. If the right deal presents itself though...

8. probably try to get a superstar scorer more than likely wade, lebron or amare or some defensive minded like howard

6. Keep the original rosters first then try the rookie draft later on.

7. Trade away since the Golden State Warriors have good young talent.

8. Maybe trading away Dunleavy, Murphy, or Adonal Foyle for someone.

9. Basically, the three players I named in question 8. (Overpaid players with average skill)

9. are thier any players on your team that you consider untradeable no matter what is offered for him? Yes, Vince Carter. He is the face of my dynasty. I'll try to get him another sidekick

1. Nah, probably not. Too lazy.

2. As of right now, Chicago for sentimental reasons and LAC, because I simply love how their roster is put up together.

6. Probably I'll redo the draft, yeah. I'll edit a player or two or insert a new one in.

7. Considering both teams have a lot of young talent, I'll probably just work with what I have.

8. With Chicago: Deng for Milicic. With LAC: something like Maggette for Turkoglu, Korolev and a future #2 for Armstrong and TT, Rebraca for Croshere, Juan Jose Barea.

9. Chicago: Hinrich, Nocioni and Wallace. LAC: Brand, Livingston, Kaman.

7. It depends on the depth of the draft (and whether or not the rookies are more realistic than in the past)
8. Maybe a trade with Knight for a good, starting caliber SG - but probably not

7. Depends, if I'm in the playoffs by the deadline I'll just keep what I got but I will try to trade away my 2nd round pick and keep my 1st round. If I stink, then I'll try to get another first rounder and offer someone who should be playing good but stinks. It probably won't work out.

8. C. Bosh and Mo Pete for D. Wade. Try to get M. Evans (the NEXT Rodman) and if its too hard to get Wade, then I'll go after A. Iguodala. I need a better sg. I might also try to get back Charlie V from the Bucks. But I may do that in the second season after the draft.

9. Andrea Bargnani. He will be my future star. Everyone else is fair game.

Totally depends what the trade market offers

7. I would most likely trade for picks. It would give me more enthusiasm late in the season about my dynasty, knowing that I could have more than one first round pick. Also, if i make the draft update for 07, I want Oden... Atlanta*, Portland*, New York*... consider your draft picks vulnrable.

I saw Live 07 Dynasty Issues and me having the last post and i was like what the fuck i didnt post here. But yeah this thread.

Celtics NextGen, Custom Team PC

5. what % of games do you play vs sim?
Nextgen: 1 played every month, Currentgen: everygame played

6. do you plan to redraft or keep original rosters? will you alter draft order if yes?
Celtics will use opening day rosters, Currentgen will be a custom league.

Stockpile, just the way I roll. The Custom one will be a season, not a dynasty.

Other Notes:
Nextgen screenies will be done with a digital camera as of right now; I may sacifice my HD graphics on my computer monitor so I can get video but I havent decided yet. This Dynasty will start after I purchase NBA Live 07 360.

Currentgen Season Story: Won't start for a couple weeks after the release probably.

keep original rosters... but i usually do two dynasties.. one with a draft and one with the knicks.. but no i dont alter the order

Since i have the knicks, prob trade them... i dont plan on finishing in last place again!!!!

OH YES ... Jerome James is a goner... Steve Francis is also on the block but dont know who i will try to get for him yet.. maybe Q Rich... Then again... I might keep the knicks as-is for a while because i like to be able to play with the team how it is in real life as i watch the season
