Nicknames?

Are Marv or Steve going to say T-mac or Silent Assasin instead of tracy mcgrady and so on.
And what about Create-a-Player function? Are you going to be able to choose your created player nickname like in the NBA LIVE 2000?

umm...Actually,Marv and Steve sometimes say T-mac instead of Tracy McGrady in NBA LIVE 06
and you can choose ur created player's nickname in the past NBA LIVE Series as well...

In Live 06 i haven't heard it...
In Live 05 - yes. Even the croud shouts out T-MAC
And about the crated players nickname. In Live 2000 you could choose players nickname so that marv and announcer say not #10, but for example Lightning and etc.

I don't believe there's a nick name option in 07, but Andrew (among others) has confirmed that there's a database of last names that you can choose from and Marv and Steve'll say in the game. For example if you create a player called Michael Smith, they'll say something like "Smith for three" when commentating

in 06 they called Abdur-Rahim "Shareef" sometimes.

in live 06 they call richard hamilton rip hamilton. and i noticed thats not just marv and steve, but also the announcer thing for the speech files idk what its called
