legends in the game? jordan?

just wondering if there will be legends included this year... and if there are, which ones?

also, will the arena anouncer, marv or steve actually say "jordan" if i make a fake mj?

I think legends are going to be the same as in the NBA LIVE 06. But there still are NLSC patchers

and it'll be incredibly pointless too.

i thought jordan was never in video games because he wanted extra pay

He was in LIVE 2004. And that was the last video game in which MJ has been.

There aren't any new Legends in NBA Live 07. The 90s All-Stars' roster has also taken another hit since Reggie Miller can't be included anymore.

i don't see why they can't use dummy players, and give us the ability to edit them (make the black guys white, give bald people hair, vice versa, etc)

Since dummy/"roster" players wouldn't be allowed to resemble any real players who can't be included in any way, a more in-depth CAP mode with the ability to designate a player as a Legend would be just as effective. Either way, not this year.

do you think Live will ever get exclusive license from the NBA? Madden has exclusive Licenses from the NFL so is Fifa from FIFA.

i hope not, imo they need all the compitition they can get to keep nba live fun and interesting

Probably not. They tried and failed not long ago. I think the NBA would rather increase revenue by allowing multiple developers to have the license.

This is not true, the licensing rights are the same for next- annd current-gen. So the same legends will be in both games.
I don't see why you post "I HATE NEXT GEN" after every post. You can't expect EA to make a next-gen game for pc just yet, as the majority of pc users can probably not run those games on their current pc's. Yes, there are people with powerful enough pc's out there, but I think at this point it's better to still have current-gen for pc.

I know I know and knowing their history hahaha.... I just envision Live to be at Madden's level one day... I was playing Madden 07 yesterday for a couple of hours and I was amazed at how many new features there are and how deep their franchise mode is

yeah i just got madden 07 also after a few years off, and i was amazed at all they have added in only 3 years.

I'm afraid he doesn't exist in 07 free agrent list .

i think it is rather odd that Jordan will allow his nike's to be all over the game but when it comes to actually putting himself in there its a no go. i dont really see what the big difference is its all marketing Jordan.

Apparently they can continue to be included for the following year but after that they're out until they join the retired players union, so we might see him one more time depending on whether he's in the league this year.
