Next Gen & Current Gen Question

Postby tylerdurden on Mon Aug 21, 2006 1:03 pm

excuse my ignorance but what is all this "Next Gen" & "Current Gen" talk. Is this reference to the old and new graphics engines?

& if so, what platforms on 07 will use "Next Gen"?

Does it just apply to graphics? Is gameplay the same between Gens?

What about PC?

The games are two different engines. The gameplay may be similar, but it will probably be more realistic on the next gen consoles, as they have more power. PCs are current gen, as most do not have graffic cards that can match up to the 360 and PS3.

And nice name, Fight Club is one hell of a book.

I think bigh0rt is simply referring to the community of patchmakers we have here at the NLSC.
