This is a constant challenge where you keep tuning and tuning the engine and gameplay right up to when you ship the game." That really doesnt sound good. Fit all the new graphics, and extra options in, and we can work on the gameplay last. But thats EA for you.

Thats what they should be doing if the game is done is you ask me. They have time to test it and if they see something wrong then they can fix it.

Im sorry, but i expect a game where the CPU players dont shoot behind the backboard, not sub their starters in after halftime, shoot a 2 pointer when they need a 3 at the end of games, and other things you would NEVER see in the NBA. Dont get me wrong, im not a NBA Live hater, i just dont like paying 40 bucks for a game with very flawed gameplay.
Gameplay > Graphics

Tim Tschirner: There were several things I was really happy about with NBA Live on Xbox 360
Are you kidding me? He was happy the gameplay ("I also felt like we delivered a game that felt next-gen, with innovations like the Temple of Basketball that allows you to start playing immediately while the game is loading. The whole concept of being in the game all the time is really next-gen.")? Wow. Who needs to have a game with post 2001 gameplay when you "fantastic" graphics and a practice court while it loads? Not to mention no one on one mode. No muiltple season season mode (not even franchise mode. even live 99 had that on the psx). No All star weekend. No FSS. And he tries to point to a few positives? Wake up, seriously.
Live 360 was the worst game I have ever played. But what was even better was this corker: " Last year really laid the foundation for us to create an innovative next-gen experience for the franchise in this year and in the future."
Tetris looks "innovative" and "next gen" compared to last years 360 game. No wonder they are marketing footplanting and streaming espn shows as their main selling points. They could even say on the box "now with a multilanguage instruction manual" and people will get excited about it. Fuck me dead.
If only the nba live tmac could read this, I'm sure he'll roll his eyes at me. Perceptial awareness!
