PC Requirements?

Wed Aug 02, 2006 4:15 pm

My apologies if this query has been answered already, but what is the PC requirements to run the game?

Wed Aug 02, 2006 4:19 pm

We still don't know yet. The requirements posted in the NBA Live 07 section at the moment are for NBA Live 06, recent history would suggest NBA Live 07 will require a slightly better system than last year.

Thanks. I wish they wont require a 1 gig ram and a 256 bit vcard

Wed Aug 02, 2006 6:34 pm

they wont need that much, and if they do you can just drop the graphics

Wed Aug 02, 2006 10:32 pm

You can actually judge from the screenshots I guess... I think we won't need a better graphic card if we were able to play 06 properly. Anyway, more ram and processor speed is always good. (Y) :D

Shit ill probably need to get more ram.I got only 512 (N) .

Only if a graphics card's power is directly proportional to the length of its name.

I hope it doesn't require a graphics card with Pixel Shader or something about that, I run them on a unmodifiable laptop pc.

This question is asked annually. Yet people don't realise that as long as NBA Live is a current gen console port, the requirements will be the same every year. This is EA Sports, a console sports game we're talking about; not Unreal Tournament, Crysis or Half Life 2 where the engines are modified constantly to implement new graphical features. So please, if your machine can run NBA Live 2005, which is where the last major graphical (addition of pixel shader oriented lighting) engine upgrade occured, then you can bet that Live 07 is no different.

Mon Aug 07, 2006 6:20 am

requirements will be whatever the PS2 is but Live 06 seemed to be between PS2 and 360 last year if the graphics were turned up all the way so if you want to run it on the max I'd think you'd need a slightly better pc than last year, but just to run the minimun I cant imagine you needing anything better than what Live 06 was.

Mon Aug 07, 2006 6:37 pm

Intel 2.4 Ghz
512mb RAM
64mb Nvidia Geforce4 Mx440 with AGP8x video Card

I hope I could play it with no much lag or slow motion.

Hahaha

^^ that wasnt very nice...

anyway, an MX440 isnt considered a gaming card so you cant expect it to give you a smoooth performance..plus it doesnt support DX9 features so even if it runs, it wont look as good as the ones running on DX9 card..

i just hope NBA live 07 features HDR or other SM 3.0 tech..
