I dont know where the other thread is so I'll post my thought here.

I found it interesting that he said he didnt like the word 'sim' too much because he feels nobdy, competition included, is building a true sim. Does it matter that the competition isnt in his eyes? The fans are asking for something more down the lines of a sim and if he wants to keep them then thats the way to go. EA wouldnt even have any competition if they took out most of the arcade style features in the game. Even seperating them would be better, an arcade mode with all the crazy dunks and the sim mode with the more realistic plays. All the highlights I see are capped off with a 360 dunk or a reverse windmill. Oh well. Game still sounds good but could be better.

Good thing is the 'back to the basics' approach of the game.

People should be able to play just using 2 buttons: pass and shoot

And they will.
