Live 07 or 2K7???

This past year, I bought both 06 and 2k6 and 2k6 was ten times better. I return my Live 06 after three days. The Dynasty needs to be improved greatly. I would love to see MLE, more realistic injuries like Madden with carrer ending injuries and season ending injuries, ability to sign whatever coach you want for example, Larry Brown can coach in LA (also like in Madden), Summer League and ability to scout players from the draft with pre-draft workouts. I noticed that Live will come out in Sept. But I also heard lots of good stuff for 2K7. Which one to get??? Live 07 or 2K7?

I would say Live 07 for pc but 2k7 for console. Unless easports releases an amazing feature i'm getting 2k7 for 360.

Yeah i though about this also, but nba live 07 for pc, and 2k7 for ps2.

Sounds like your mind is pretty much made up already. You should do what the others suggested.

No, dont do what others suggest. Only buy a game if its what you want. Unless you really trust and value someones opinion (and i hardly think jugs' opinion is worth that much :crazy:

), dont do it.

As always, I'd suggest getting whichever one you prefer and if possible, rent them first so you can make an informed choice.

Well, I'm a pure PC user, so I don't really have much say in the matter.

I think it's best to wait a little longer before wholeheartedly deciding; hardly anything new has been posted about these games.

I didn't mind 2K6, just hated the shot stick.I'd rather have the controls the same as Nba live 06. The rest of the gameplay is alright, nothing special. I liked Live better becuase...well... it was just more fun for me, becuase I'm not the simulation type of guy.

you don't like the shot stick?!? I think it's a great inclusion, it 'feels' more right than pushing a button....I guess it's personal preference....

as for the original post, my advice would depend on what system you run....if you are a PC player, then definitely Live, but since you had 2k6, you must be a console player so definitely go with 2k7....

Thanks for the input guys. Keep it coming. Obviously I need to wait for more information about the games, but I just wanted to know what others thought. Right now I am leaning towards 2K7. I played Live 06 on Xbox 360 and I hate the cameram angles, and I can barely read the player names and other information. The letters are so small and unnoticable. Traditionally I've always been with EA, it just seems that the last couple of years they haven't been putting out good Live games compared to 2K series.

anyways, This year I will buy NBA Live 07 for PC. That and NCAA Football 07 will last me over till i get some PS3 games and whenever NBA 2K7 comes out for PS3

I played 2K6 for the first time a couple of weeks ago and is really doesn't do anythign better than live except for the better and smoother movements in the air witht he shotstick. You can just as easy dunk all game with the shotstick in 2K6 as you can in LIVE 06. And live seems better and less stiff than 2K6. I migth buy both if i get the xbox 360, but i will also get the PC version for online gaming.
