if you want to sub more often try raising the cpu sub slider. and about the fatigue you can always edit the players fatigue in players.dbf

i havent had problems in subbing and fatigue with the latest gamefix. ( i raise the my cpu sub slider to 43-48 so that cpu start subbing before the end of the 1st quarter).

I don't understand how this patch, after eight versions continue horrible!

maybe you are playing with an illegal copy that's why your game sucks and so are you

as always the game is BEAUTIFUL but I got a prblem. the cpu take lesser 3points. maybe it is just how i play defense or something.

i got your point, after the release i am already tuning the files for the next version

i will try to figure out why "lesser 3 points"

actually the 3 point attempts are ok. substitution and fatigue actually for games less than 8 mins per quarter its a problem but can easily be fix by editing the dbf and sliders. the only problem is more often those 3 point attempts are from a point guard. actually most of the time the pg may score few points but checking their fg/3pt attempts its just too high i think. although we can say that after applying the official patch and the gamefix 9.02, the pg domination has lessen a bit but it doesnt really solve the problem. pg is still very aggresive. yes they setup a play quite a bit, but come on double teaming the pg and still he shoots a 3pt or a jumper is just unrealistic especially for the guys like alston, devin harris, lue, etc. devin harris doesnt even take a lot of jump shots he is more of a tony parker who loves to drive to the basket. i just want to clarfy i am totally impress with the gamefix 9.02 patch coz it really improve the game for me. but i strongly believe pg domination is still an issue to all gamefix.

Even if I didn't have enough time to play a lot with your fix, I find it very good, you did a very good job, and it works perfect with your rosters and settings, I am pleased of it.

The only problem is the one mentionned above, the PG sometimes runs through the court, and takes a three pointer just at the start of the possession...

How did you choose the offensive and defensive plays for each team?

I played Lakers against Clips (I was Lakers), yea, Sam Cassell does shoot a lot of 3s. Elton Brand didn't even have 10 points until the second half when he took over. Still, not much activity down low when playing a half-court game. (I usually use Kobe on Defense to mark Magette who has been getting a lot of shots.)

so jimmy what do you think about my stats? did i install your patch correctly? i am using your roster 4.05 the injury roster and also i am getting too many wide open shot but i cannot get the ball to go in! i am using the current gameplay setting in your patch i hope you get this post replied

hey jimmy after i installed your gamefix ver 9.02, my detail settings in dynasty mode changes and i can't change it..there is no detail setting in dynasty..

Way too much shots for Dickau, and the subs aren't coming in. dirkz stats have 18 shots for J-Will and 15 shots for CHRIS QUINN in 13 minutes.

Bit of a problem isn't it?

Jimmy, what exactly did you modify in the plays.dbf? I looked at the one that was installed in my game already, and the one you placed in your gamefix installation, and I couldn't find the difference. Also, you have a bunch of files being installed in database in a folder called OrigdbXbx What do these do? Also, I see the assignment.act file is being installed in 3 different folders, namely ai, act, and actPc. Is it really important that it be installed in all 3?

I'm just trying to find out what I'll be doing when installing your patch before doing so. I prefer doing things the old school way, by placing the necessary files in the necessary folders myself, that way, I know exactly where to troubleshoot when/if I have a problem.

hey jimmy, first of all tnx for the hard work. I tryed a little bit to play with the new patch and roster and it work pretty good. but, I think the C\PF don't shoot to much

I played with miami vs detroit (i was miami) and i played only 15 minutes (10 minutes for a querter) and i saw that wallac and webber didn't shoot to much.. most of the shots are taken by billups, hamilton and some times prince

and i have a question, do i need to play with your settings or i can modify it to the defualt and only fix a little bit the sub slider?

and finally, why all the teams have the same strategy?

Hey Jimmy, first of all thanks for your hardwork..man EA should've been the one doing all these fixes but lucky we have guys like you!
anyway just a couple of observations, i installed 9.02 correctly ( i assume) and tried it for a couple of games and honestly it makes the game more natural and playable.

m only playing 5 mins quarter so i raised the sub freq to 75 for CPu and USER..i also adjusted the gamespeed, and the shooting sliders to fit my game, other than that, i didnt touch your settings...during first 5 trial games, i didnt have prob with CPU coz it did sub before 1st qtr ends and even used up to 8 players in my game...the problem is with my team, the computer dont want to autosub for me! i have to manually do this or otherwise i'll finish the game all the way only with my starters. hmm maybe i should try a 8 min qtr or higher later to see if it still do this and report back here soon.

secondly... i notice after playing for around 5 games, the CPU PG seems to dominate again?! Houston's Rafer Alston scored 35 points on me and just dished 2 assists the last time around. and i cant remember which team, but there's one CPU team who subbed only one player in my entire game. i am not sure about this but i think i read it somewhere, do i have to run your gamefix at every start of a game week or just ONCE from installation

Guys you need download the file who's name is Gamefix9_02, not Gamefix902, maybe this is a problem! Try to downlaod again! For me works pretty good, when I played Miami&Bulls Hinrich scores 11points and dish 9pass! gameplay is very good! Jimmy works really hard and this is the best gamefix so far!

yeah and at least learn to guard effectively. try to guard the pg when he cross the half court till the 3pt line (bump the pg). coz the pg will always try to shoot or drive whenever there's no one guarding him during those time.

i never had those problem with the pg shooting too much(except when its nash, iverson,hinrich). even with jimmy's default aiact, coz im using a diff aiact with jimmy's gamefix and tis working great for me.

yes i downloaded the gamefix the 9_02 maybe because i didn't just play defense i am really terrible in defense you know i because i am not using his current roster i am using his old roster before the 9_02 (i am using my dynasty with gamefix 8.05 then because it is compatible with your current save in dynasty i do what is written in the read me file and also i dont know if i installed the patch correctly) i hope you understand me
