Fix the bug that block shot isn't registered as a miss( and a rebound to the player who gets the ball).
add an option to ''push'' the ball outside in a rebound.
add few rostars and players of european team(Maccabi Tel Aviv,CSKA Moscow, Tau Vitoria...).
Add an option to use two types of freestyle superstars in players who have it( like Tony Parker, LeBron James,Kobe Braynt...).
Add an option to create plays( like matchup-zone defanse).

Well, I want to see team practice (like in 2k6) and I want the crowd streaming down to the court when my team wins the championship, and maybe some confetti or balloons

I don't know if this has somethin' to do with my controller but sometimes I can't control my players and I end up getting a backcourt violation or out of bounds.

I want less offensive rebounds from my opponent, especially if I play against Suns or Heat.

In dynasty mode, I want to be able to hire and fire coaches and more staff, like 3 or 4 assistant coaches with different coaching abilities. I want to see more trades between CPU teams plus preseason games and the NBDL. And that you can assign or recall players. And you can also play an NBDL team and you can view the NBDL standings. And add some real rookies and use the real assistant coaches with the team then you can fire them and hire staff in the middle of the season. Also have coaches resigning.

How about retired players becoming coaches or scouts, like Avery Johnson
becoming coach of the Mavericks or Vlade Divac becoming a scout for the Lakers.

Team mascots, too. And you can see and hear coaches yelling at their players. And different commentators for each game. And like when the broadcaster is TNT, have a TNT scoreboard and TNT commentators. Same for ESPN and Solar Sports and other TV networks.

INSTANT REPLAYS FOR THE BUZZER BEATERS! everytime I hit a buzzer beater, the cut scene displays the ref checking on the scorer's table AND NOT THE BUZZER BEATING PLAY ITSELF!

Better user inteface. For the PC, we have a mouse and a keyboard, and it will be better to design a user interface that will maximize these devices. e.g. you can press ESC to resume the game like in 2004, ESC for back and ENTER for forward buttons (like in the old NBA Lives), and UI like NBA Live 98, where you can see the entire roster without scrolling (a smaller font size is the key). The NBA Live 98 UI really did a good job. Maybe a dropdown menu rather than a number of screens that only provides a number of options will be better to avoid numerous screen transitions and will definitely give faster access for the user.

Adjust the cheezy moves inside the paint, like the reverse layup which seems impossible to stop, and the consecutive tip-ins.

I also hope EA will fix the bug wherein a deflection is recorded as a TURNOVER for the defensive player. Basically, the algorithm they used is whoever touched the ball last before it goes out of bounds will merit a turnover.

Whenever a player goes for a layup or a dunk, and when the defender inside the no charge zone is taking a charge, there will be a charging call! Very annoying specially when you really have a clear path to the basket and the defender just used that trick to get a turnover

The referees and the coaches should be a lot more animated. And a player or a coach can contest a call by pressing a button and the player will be tagged a technical foul. There is no violence in this. It will be just a player complaining. The game will be more realistic if a player or a coach gets ejected because of their reaction to bad calls

An option to actually save the SETTINGS and load them later on will be a big convenience specially to those who really are tweaking the settings for the best gaming experience

Bring back the user stats so that you can evaluate your performance everytime you play (include your win/loss record). In this way, you can compare your performance with other users just by playing in exhibition mode or otherwise. Also bring back the save stats, save replay, and save game options

More unlockables! Not just shoes. But players, courts, jerseys, mini-games, etc.

if there will be enough time, add ability to play a season/playoffs in 1on1 mode, so it could be a brand new game mode, and not just practice mode with the rival. 3on3 mode could also be fun.

also i would like to have more abilities on creating my own league, like playing season with just 4 teams (like in live 99), while two teams are going into playoffs etc. you know - custumization makes the game more rapleyable.

i want tons of options.

Make the play by play commentator name the players by their nicknames.eg: Shaq, The glove, Vinsanity, T-mac, etc...and legends,,Magic, Larry, Kareem, Dr. J, The human highlight Film, Zeke, Reggie, the Chief, Wilt, Hondo, etc.
The commentator should talk more about players stats during the game according to their performance.

Fix the licence problems and add the appropiate 90´s legends...Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Shawn Kemp, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Dennis Rodman.....by the way Spud Webb and Tom Chambers were in their prime in the 80´s not in the 90´s.

Add championship teams from the past in stead of RBK teams who nobody cares.

Allow the chance to buy top players from other leagues, such as the europeans, south americans, asians, africans, Ocenia.

Two more things:

make it possible to arrange scouted draft prospects by alphabetic names and by ability level in each category. Like, who's the best 3 pt guy of all the ones I scouted? blocker? etc

and also, I think the technology is very close to allowing real player aging in dynasty mode. I want Lebron, Carmelo, Wade etc to look older by their 20th year in the league. I'm not saying a long gray beard and baldness for every player, but just looking a little older each year like in real life. Maybe 1/10 guys actually go bald, but they at least have a wrinkle in the forehead or some stubble, something!

They definitly need to tone down the superstar abilities....make it more like a once in a blue thing instead of having us doing it any time we wanted to...ESPECIALLY high flyers.

Really?...and why should they do that? I thought EA was in it to make money. The american crowd that basketball games appeal to are synonymous with the hip-hop movement...look at the nba players..are they punk rockers? Baseball and hockey and tony hawk games etc are all laden with rock n' roll. I suggest you get used to it or play another sport.

My take :

1)Add an over the back or loose ball foul. This would force players to be more careful when trying to get rebounds from behind. And for

2)Yes.. fix the offensive rebounding bug.

3)Given that you guys always end up with arcade style like play.. an REAL GAME SLIDER SET would be appreciated. Think of it as a reward to the loyal fans who want to play the game at a more realistic pace. You could have ARCADE, SIMULATION (which is still a bit arcady..) and REAL GAME in the slider set selections.

4)Please do more research before making the player ratings.

5)Integrate Playmaker passes into ICON PASSING.

I think EA should include the online mode in the Spanish game. In the nba live 06 for Spain the online mode does not exist and I've had lots of problems to combine English original files with my Spanish files to make it work with the online mode appearing. So EA should take it into account or I will continue fixing just my own game

this is a problem that has been bothering NBA Live players for YEARS.... it's also known as the ICE SLIDING/SKATING.. EFFECT...
I'm sure that most would agree that this is the most important change that needs to take effect..... I think they've used the same physics engine back from like NBA LIVE 2001 or something.... so EA needs to completely start from scratch with the physics of the game, when I say physics I mean the player movement on the court, the steps they take ON the court, the crossovers and all that motion capture stuff they spend so much time on is wonderful, but when I do a sweet crossover and bust up a defender at the 3 point line where he falls, and I'm TURBOING my way to the hoop.. that same defender is able to get up and NOT only catch up to me, but GET IN BETWEEN ME AND THE BASKET before I even make it to the hoop...... so WTF ??
it's a DAMN SHAME EA wont do that, cuz they'll be too busy adding more sweat on the players foreheads, and more highly detailed tattoos for next years version of NBA Live, it's like Microsoft PAID them to work on the graphics of Nba Live 06 for the Xbox360.. haha how the hell can u take away the freestyle aspect of the game by the way, the same thing you c0ck$uckers boasted and bragged about for so long...

The ideas that have come up sound great. Here is my 2cents worth;
-Sliding/skating effect. Its really annoying when your taking it down the court and the opposition just walk right into you.

-PDA IMO is pretty useless. It beeps and vibrations annoys the crap out of me and the fact that you cant use it is also annoying. I think that the PDA should be used for communication with the staff eg. Scout, Trainer & Ass Coach. Stats and news should also be accessed via the PDA.
In addition to the PDA, I think that a map of the world should come up when you want to scout a rookie or hire a Free Agent. I want to be able to click on a continent and a list of rookies appear that are from that region. Same thing with the Free Agents. I want to know if the F/A is playing in another league or is he just unemployed (i would choose a player who has been active).

-Upgrades to facilities during the off-season like in Madden. Upgrades to staff during the season.

-Changes to the Salary Cap and actual player salaries. If a player has had a bad season they should accept lower deals. If a player that has come off the bench to play a crucial role the during the season then he should be able to demand more. If a player wants to stay in the team then he should demand less.

-I beleive the current player rating system is outdated. Players like Lebron should not have a rating of 95+ because that leaves little to develop. Ratings should be cut back to allow for development of players during Dynasty mode.

-When creating a player you should be able to choose signature moves. eg. if you create a PG who is a playmaker, allow to choose what type of dribble moves or passing types that he can execute and also be able to assign to which button. There are a few good dribble moves that were taken out.

-FSS can only be used when your player has accumulated enough points to be able to execute the move. eg. a energy bar that increases if you are on a scoring run and get hyped up like in NBA jam where you can get on fire but without the outrageous dunks.

-Cant forget about in-game saves.

Take out the Free style super star. Have players do these moves by instinct (I like being surprised) Realism is a big thing to me since I play and watch basketball all the time. Not everyone has the same crossover moves. Its gets boring seeing the same moves after awhile. Freestyle needs to be change because not much has changed since 2003. It seems 2k6 is much closer to a great bball game even with the flaws they have. Please let me put my own music in the game. That song where it sounds like the girl is talking about needing to make a sound GETS ON MY NERVE, I actually play with all music off. It's like you guys are getting worse every year with the music. I have an Xbox and would like to have my own music playing. It's like EA has too much pride to listen to their fans. But that was my two cents. I agree with 90% with what everyone else says. I know its a process but if you see everyone stating it over and over maybe something needs to be done.

P.S. I don't usually post here I think this is my 6th post or so but I would like to say thank you to everyone that works hard with the sliders and to all the moderators for such a great job.

-access music with a little player in the corner that has play/pause, stop, forward, and previous buttons like in NHL 2004
-players and coaches arguing with refs
-get rid of the flashing court glitch
-get rid of when the cpu PG dribbles through the key and waits under the hoop for half an hour then lays it up
-make offensive rebounding harder
-get rid of when players lay up the ball into the back of the backboard
-better ai, eg. when your player is going to make a pass over a defender into the post and he throws it into his defenders hands, it could easily be avoided by throwing the ball up high.
-better ai on the fast break, have your team actually run with you and not walk up the court.
-in dynasty mode have a local and national news paper.
-in dynasty mode have other teams not be so stupid and resign guys to huge contracts, i hate when every other team is over the cap and you have no competition in FA signing, and you have barely any chance to make trades.
-make the cpu offer way more trades
-allow multi team trades
-have player evelution screens at the end of every month
-different commentary for 3 point challenge, and slam dunk contest, 06 was virtually the same as 2005
-have the create a fan feature that madden has. let fans have props that say stuff like CB4, KG, or MVP.
-make the crowd boo players that used to play for the home team. eg. VC in Toronto
-let players have more emotion, i hate when i make a huge shot to win a game and my team acts like its no big deal. make guy jump on each other and be grinning and stuff
-have pre game shows with the tnt crew or something
-more old jerseys
-add and 1 shoes
-bring back the interactive nba store from 2005
-cut down and FSS abilitys, make them fatigue players more. also allow a guy who has mor then 1 category that he fits inder be able to mix and match certain abilitys. eg. 2 highflyer dunks, a shooters shot, and a playmakers behind the back pass.
-more realistic rookies in the draft, also, give them normal names, no matthias yoruba and all that stuff.
-better name recognition for created players, and players in the draft. I hate when the commentators say #9 and stuff like that.
-more freestyle dribbling moves
-individual shot styles for higher end players.
-have players free throw routine. eg. jason kids blow kiss, or Gilbert Arenas' behind the back thing.
-better recognition by the refs on buzzer beaters, i lost the finals in game 7 on a buzzer beater that was at least a full second late.
way less dunking, it seems cool at first, but the street style gets lame after a while
and for people that like the street style have 3 on 3, and other fun modes on real courts like rucker park.
-more in depth off season
-add a radio station like tony bruno's in Madden 05
-have rival games that are really hyped up in the papers and radio
-have player morale, where players will demand a trade if they feel they're not getting good enough minutes.
-have hot and cold streaks by players
-no more coaching rumors in the pda, it gets really annoying after a while. have them in the local papers instead.
-allw players to sign head coaches as well. and make all the head coaches and assistants, and trainers, and scouts, all real people.
-create a team.
-allow players to mess around with the divisions for dynasty mode. eg. add new orleans to the eastern conference, and switch detroit to the west.
-set ticket, parking, and concession prices.
-allow teams to move cities like in madden
-a new mesh style
-more balls to chsose from
-hold practices in dynasty mode, walk through the offence and stuff
-allow players to save thier playbooks
-add an option where you can play full 12 minute quarters and it will automaticaly set them to realistic sliders.
-add ALL the players from the draft coming up this June. there was basically no second rounders this year.
-allow you to send guys down to the d leage to improve
-have retirement ceremonies, and MVP, and Rookie of the Year, and Most Improved, and 6th Man, and Defensice Player, also coach of the year.
-have a career mode like in Madden 06.
