when you say "latest AI update by pdub", does it mean its a much later version or still the 1.2?

and the CAP update, is this the same version which cause some headband problem or did you fix it?

aye jao. during midnight ballers, how can i like switch the players on the teams around. cuz anytime i wanna do anything, like trade or relase/sign, it sez that there needs to be 8 players, and iono how to get around that.

I didnt think there was an issue with the create a player update and headbands. I thought the headband issue came from the frame rate patch.

and aznguy, i really didnt think of that...shit, i guess the only way to do it is by going into the players.dbf and doing it manually.

EDIT for the spaz:
Check the detail settings, my settings are at the maximum and may conflict with your computer. Lower some stuff and make sure the resolution is lowered.

Spaz, I think you can fix that by just turning lighting to off in the detail settings.

did you check the detail settings to make sure they match your regular settings?

Did you install everything correctly? doesn't hurt to try again. If you continue to have issues just wait until i release a installer version.

i had same problem as japs...but im patient and can wait for an installer. Great work Jao, i'm digging this mod, and i'm actually scoring less with a more arcade style go figure

try this, goto my documents/nba live 07/saves/midnightballers and delete the settings.dat

then load it up and try it again.

hey man somebody got the correct and WORKING files for nba street 07, i did EVERYTHING correct but the rosters are showing v0.1 and v0.15 downloads instead of STREET BETA. plus the reg nba live still plays no street whatsoever. what is going on or is this a joke or something?? i have be en trying for 3 days now to get this.

cuz when ur extracting the folder, you need to take the STREET BETA folder out of the v0.1 folder and put that one in ur saves one.

People seriously, this is not that hard of a installation, just read the readme's, they will tell you which files go in which folder.

If you've been trying many times and just can't seem to get it to work, just wait until I make an installer for this (hopefully soon)

i read all read mes. i have installed all things in correct places, i FOLLOWED ALL INSTRUCTIONS. do u for example double click on the sgsm folder and then extract ALL FILES INSIDE THAT FOLDER to the one you already have or do u just Extract sgsm to your sgsm and overwrite it. i tried both methods but still no dice.

Are you going to change/fix the layups in the aiact? They don't really work at all, half the time it lays it into the back of the backboard. Also, you can't really do anything under the hoop anymore. When you try to dunk they just do that stupid adjusted shot animation that never goes in or the layup that also never goes in

which version of the AIACT are you using, I realize that most of the layups aren't working but I fixed it up so that it's usable. Remember these are BETAs, not final. If your having issues with the dunks just goto edit player and change their dunk package to a more advanced one.


and ballaman04, really just wait till I make an installer... your probably doing 1 thing wrong like not putting the roster in the right place or something but I can't go on your computer and fix it for you. Just hang tight.

wow, i had to join in just to say how much i loved this mod. i've had some decent patches in the past but wow, just wow. midnight ballers is simply amazing and all you've done so far to make a slightly poor EA game into a game to sit and play for hours on end. installation instructions are so easy a caveman could do it, and loading it up is as simple as point and click. great job and i will surely be downloading the next version.

one thing though, i know about off-ball moves, but in your videos, i noticed ones with the ball bouncing off the court and coming up when it wasn't in slam dunk contest or practice. are there certain keys/buttons you need to press to get those? or am i just missing something?

glad you like it man Im starting to lean towards making a picture tutorial for installation just cause its quicker than trying to make an installer. Doing the installer isnt the issue, its just that I have so many optional patches I dont want to install stuff that people dont want.


As for the bounce dunk it should happen automatically with some players, but if you get your hands in a FSS superstar highflyer hold the trigger and rotate the right analog from the top to the left. The player will either bounce it or throw it up in the air for themselves.

every thing was installed right jaosming. i put STREET BETA IN C:/PROGRAM/s/MYDOCS/NBA LIVE/ SAVES. i loaded and even tried changing the v0.1 download as it keeps naming it that to STREET BETA but still no street ballas on any version.

....goto my documents, double click on NBA LIVE 07, then double click on 'saves', put the street beta folder in there

Hoping you will have a installer ready and still even though i haven't solve the created player no head even i uninstall the CAP update it's okey rooting for this patch (and Jaosming what if i lower the detail setting will it affect gameplay because i have a bad video card )
