it doesnt matter if he makes some tattoos that are in the game or not..since hes doubling the resolution and improving those tattoos as well

I'm still not too happy with it, but I tried to fix the contrast and to resize a few of AI's tats, so here's v.2:

Regarding what's next, I just realized that Marquis Daniels has actually his arms covered with tats now, so I'll need more pix, and I can't seem to find good enough pix for Curry, because his tats don't have a lot of contrast and they're pretty hard to distinguish from his skintone.
So I'll work on Jameer Nelson and Ronnie Brewer first.

About the forearm with the panther tattoo..don't worry cause I don't think that you missed any tat..it's just that the panther should of been a little bigger and thus cover a larger part of his forearm, that's all

I was just disappointed with the outcome because it started really well, but then I was lacking good pix, especially for this right forearm, so I knew it wouldn't look that great, but well...

Because of some "technical issues", I cannot play Live 07 anymore, thus I will no longer be able to make any tats.

The longer version is that I've had some trouble after installing Jimmy's 9.7 gameplay fix. The fix seemed to work great in-game, but I had a weird side effect with it: it somehow disabled the "autoplay" feature of my DVD drive, also preventing me from manually opening or exploring any CD or DVD. I could still play my games because I had shortcuts for them and the DVD drive was normally detected, but I simply couldn't open anything else.
That doesn't seem to make sense but I suspect a conflict with Vista. Uninstalling Jimmy's patch did nothing, and only a system restore made my DVD drive work again. But for some reason, Live just can't be launched anymore, it gives me a blank screen...
I figured I would just reinstall, but there's a problem during the installation (a speech file that apparently can't be copied succesfully ), and now I'm screwed because I can't even install a clean version of Live (I tried 3 times). Again, I think that reinstalling on Vista is probably causing this problem, since I didn't have any issue with XP...
I don't have any time or money to waste buying a new copy or going back to XP, so fuck that, I'm just done with it.
Even though his patch caused this, I'm not throwing any stones at Jimmy, he did an amazing job with a bunch of things all year long, it was just bad freaking luck.
I'm just glad and flattered that some of my stuff could be included in the SUM release (which I didn't even get to try, nice irony... ) and hopefully, if EA finally fails to disappoint, I'll be back for '08 and try to contribute in some way.
Of course, this thread can be locked.

dang man it cant be, there has 2 be a way 2 fix it, so u moved every ounce of live off your system, the saves and everything? and then tried 2 install freshly again with clean copy and it didnt work? there had 2 b sumthing left hadnt there? also i think live works just fine with vista, i have vista myself and it works fine, i also managed fshx to work, fshx does work with vista (2 anyone that believes it doesnt). but yea hopefully sumthin can be done.

Live was working fine with Vista for me too, but maybe because it was already installed when I upgraded my XP to Vista. Now that I try to reinstall Live, it just doesn't work.
I cleaned the registry and everything, I made sure there shouldn't be any conflict, but the installation just stops at 21% saying that a speech file can't be copied.
I'm not gonna format my HD just to try it again, I was getting so fed up with Live anyway...
Still, I'm pretty bummed out.

Why is vista giving so much problems with programs that people had during XP. . . el badman I am gonna miss your patches thanks for allowing me to convert your stuff to 05 and update it. . . You are, in my point of view, the best tattoo patcher in NBA Live
hope you fix it somehow. . . if not I just hope to see your patches for 08. . .

I have 2 computers and the one I play on is never connected online, precisely to avoid any viruses or shit. I still can't understand what the issue is either, but as it is, I would probably have to format to be able to reinstall, and I'm not even sure it'd do the trick...
Also, the fact my DVD is a bit scratched, since I used it so damn much, might have something to do with it, I dunno. It worked well while playing, but maybe it could cause that particular speech file do not be installed properly...

Well, I made that tutorial for cerv and I know he's already been making some good tats, Utopia too. And of course Pdub is the one who guided me through the method in the first place, so I'm pretty sure some more peeps will make some tats at some point.

it's unfortunate that your status was caused by technicality el badman, and not primarily on your own terms ... but nontheless, thanks to all the detailed tats that you have made this year... hope to see you again in 08...
