Man !!!! Great Work with okafor and with garnett Wink
but d.wade fg 75 and c.paul 80 looks like big joke Smile 75 for paul and 80 for wade looks much better Wink

wade is only a 75? oopsy daisy i believe that was for another Heat player not Wade....but wade is having career lows and Paul is having career highs in shooting so it makes sense..

Jimmy, I saw that Shaw is on the IL, but Kandi-Man isn't. Please fix this, and please have a look and fix team for team based on the true box scores. (Y) There are still some slight mistakes.

Jimmy
After looking into the Speech Id's more..It looks like the only nicknames and other names from the names.dbf used this year are the ones numbered 9500-9519.

There are still some coaches names that are no longer coaches still in the game..If anyone needs to use them...I didn't make a list...But it looks like coaches since 2004 version are still here...

9500 says ATM in the speech file for the area announcer...What i'm thinking is that used as speech id , it's like there is no a speech id and it says the numbers of the players..used in the nicknames it's ATM...I can't remember how to get the nicknames to work.

It almost seems like if my memeory is right..that the player has to be a created player.

And has to be true in the iscreated spot on the dbf file? But i'm not sure about that..

Maybe nicknames work by just placing the number in the nickname spot in the dbf file.
But seems like they have to be created..and the plyrpkg doesn't work..

sorry it's all i know right now...

Do you have audy06 program?

Jimmy

Here it is

http://rapidshare.com/files/4048927/Audy06.rar

Any questions let me know

Just open up the file in audio/speech/arena xarplhdr.idx 2006

That is the arena annoucner

2007 is not supported to open yet, but you can open it up to see what speech files are still in it..You just can't open the speech file numbers up.

What i do is open 2006 in one window, then open up another audy06 and open up 07 and see what files are still in it.

You'll see alot of players names being announed that aren't in the game, maybe some of them are your euro players..I'm not good enough to spell their names or really figue out what he's saying.

Anyway once the file is open,,Click on a number like 1224 and you'll see numbers open up on the right side..click on one and click on preview..Remember only 2006 opens , 2007 crashes when you click on a number, but the file opens to see what's in it.

Gamespeech folder is Marv

Hope this helps you'll have fun with this i think

Jimmy, the roster is Definitively GREAT!!!!!!!
Only 1 thing, Jorge Garbajosa's legs are very fat.
The aspect is not real.
Thank you for everything what you do for this game (Y)

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the roster or the gameplay fix thread since I use them both like recommended. I noticed a quicker fatigue rate than the last release. I find it a little too intense. It does make it kinda fun because you have to spread out the minutes pretty evenly between your whole roster but it makes it kinda unrealistic in the sense that the players that usually play many minutes can't. Also there were many more blocked shots. Players that rarely block were even blocking here and there. It was a bit much. Maybe it's just me and i have to adjust my post play and such. But as always i appreciate the work as it makes the game much more fun. :)

I think the blocked shots are realistic enough, real Nba games average at least 6-10 blocks per game but the fatige is too much for the starter, usually the the starters have more stamina than the bench players.

I know some of you unclear about how i set the fatigue
here is what i found on fatigue

before i use 0.5 but not 0.6 and i found 0.5 in not realistic
==========
here is my formula to work with 07

Tweaked fatigue = (original * 0.6)+ (17 to 20)

The final rating do not exceed 75 .

jimmy can you give me more detail how to tweak a slider, I mean explain each settings and their effects on the game to come up with better and smooth gameplay, I know you tweaked your sliders for a reason.
