new season started...its been over two weeks since EA's "patch nears completion" announcement, and still no official patch.

i just wanna make a question, i installed the patch, and somehow it works, i mean, the cpu team make some subs, and also my team, then i start a dinasty just for try it. and in the first game, a couple sustitucions, but then the next 2 games, the starters play the entire game (im talking about my team) so, i try to change the sliders and put 100 in substitucion and in fatigue effect, but nothing change. anybody has experience that? any solucion? or just wait for the official patch? sorry about my english and thanks in advance for any advice

NBA season stars at 31/10, and today, 01/11 EA not release oficial patch yet...and game still "unplayable"

While I was hoping a patch would come out in time for the new season - as I'm sure all those waiting for the patch were - to be honest I'd rather wait for one that works as intended without any issues than get a patch sooner that ultimately caused more problems than it solved. Having said that, I hope we're not too far off the release.

just shows EA couldn't deliver when the game came out, and they still can't deliver with the patch. they announced the roster update won't be included in the patch, that it was a separate update later in november...well, its november-wheres the patch? and for that matter, when is the roster update?
of course we're all waiting for one that actually works as intended, but that really should've been in the original game that came out.

hiten, I understand what you're saying but the game is still playable and enjoyable, I just finished my first year as the Bulls and won the Championship so the enjoyment factor is still there for those waiting to start a Dynasty, when the patch comes I'll start again if I have to.

Unbelievable, what EA Sport is doing this Year. Maybe EA should wait with the Release of NBA Live to November and then release it without Bugs and an updated Roster. EA can really be lucky that there is no Alternative for PC Basketball. Otherwise they would really lose a lot of Buyer, like for Soccer (= Pro Evolution Soccer).
This Year NBA Live is really worser than the last Year Edition. So I really have to think about updating my NBA 06 Roster and start a Dynasty with 06.

I am a patient person...having read many of the posts on this forum, i realize many of you are patient as well. yet, how long does this patience last? when the announcement that ea would release a patch was made, most of us breathed a heavy sigh of relief. yet, we must all realize that the game was released over a month ago (and many of us bought it at that time) and we still do not have a playable game.
those of us that have the crash after exit bug will most likely never be satiated. but, aren't the rest of you growing impatient as well? what recourse do we have? probably none at all. the petition was a great effort, and many thanks are warranted for those who gave their effort to help the community. but where has it gotten us? the proposed patch doesn't even attempt to address some of the major issues we raised, and the actual patch is still nonexistent
i am calling for a general boycott of all ea products. i realize there are many obstacles impeding the effectiveness of such an action (not least of which is organizing ourselves). nevertheless, i see no promising alternative. if there is any sort of positive feedback to this post, i would be willing to draft a statement of intent on behalf of the boycotters, to be sent to ea. of course, if more established members of the community would prefer to take the lead, i would be happy to defer (i don't intend to step on any toes here).
ask yourself, who has more sway on the sales of ea products than the devoted fans of their games? ask yourself, if i don't demand better results, who will? ask yourself, if now is not the time to act, then when is?

exactly. we are trying to be patient, yet our sufferance is not infinite, especially when waiting for them to fix what should've been working in the first place. in fact, our patience dangles by an even thinner thread now that the season has started. i definitely think EA needs to understand they're taking too much time.

I've been patiently waiting to start my season with the Bulls, but I can't until EA fixes the crash after exit bug. I'm also waiting for the roster patch from EA so I can enjoy the 3 Illini players on the Jazz. (especially since Jerry Sloan will never play Dee or Roger in a real game)
It is frustrating, but I have no other choice than to wait. Maybe by Christmas there will be a couple patches released that will take care of these big issues. I don't have a console to fall back on and play that other NBA game. I'm hanging in there as long as I can...

ea used to mean quality for the most part. i used to own erts stock.
now, im waiting to open nba 07.
ea is selling out. at least it would appear that way.
maybe the focus is on the platforms, or maybe its just poor production.
too bad. i remember some good times with ea.
reminds me of going to a new restuarant and the food is great. six months later it all goes bad.
i almost bought sid meiers railroads (another ea related loser). that would have put me out $90 instead of $40.
