but yeah I would imagine EA doing the least amount of work to satisfy us... so the sub bug might just be the only one that's fixed.

The patch for 2001 never came to fruition. That's what Jowe's referring to.

Not much to say except that it's promising news. This is the first I've heard of the development myself but hopefully I'll get some more info that I can share, perhaps the specific issues the patch addresses. If not that information will surely become available in due time.

We haven't won anything yet, at least not until Live series becomes decent again, the patch is released and 2k series comes to the PC so EA doesn't hold a monopoly.

EA have to make it happen, because they know that if they got this reaction for the game, it would be even worse for a non-existant patch.

I don't think they'll mind 300 people not buying 08. As I'm reading this forum, most people are actually playing this piece of crap so I don't think they're too worried. The production cost of Live can't be that much since it's basically 06, so it will be profitable anyway.

My point was that Billups did *not* dominate when I guarded him. You missed the point of my post completely.

It was Hamilton that got the passes and shots though rather than big men.

NBA Live 07 hasn't that clever AI to recognize bad defeneders and own them, actually the AI is dumb.
It's a problem not only with the PG, also with the SG, as mentioned here:

I played as the Mavs against the Bulls today and Gordon scored something like 43 while Hinrich chipped in 33 points and 11 assists

this is a common situation, play against the Clippers and tell me how much Cassel and Mobley scores, and how much Brand scores.

Maybe this will change my mind about installing the game.
I hope this will be realeased,but I'm not really keeping my hopes up.So I will just wait and see what happens,I have been dissapointed this year,so I wont be all hyped for this,like I was with the previews of the game.
