Why not go with the champion Miami Heat?
They are good atm but what will happen after like 5 years of your dynasty.....
See if you can prove the critics wrong and keep the team up the top where they belong.
plus they have the greatest player in the NBA..........Jason Kapono

Shut up about Kapono!

Updates and a couple questions:
1. I've tried a utah dynasty. I traded kirilenko for yao so my starters were deron williams, giricek, harpring, boozer, and yao. Does anyone else find boozer to be extremely underrated? It was a very fun team. They're just good enough to be contenders, but not so good you can blow out everyone you play. Most games i came back from 10+ points down in the second half. I've yet to get the hang of jumpers in the game so do a lot of post play.
2. Given my statements about utah, and given that i'd like a team that i dont know as well but could still succeed with (i've been using utah since deron got there) do you guys have any suggestions?

I would like to have very very weak but with some FSS as stars and with a lot of european player or with players who came from Europe to NBA

This isn't really a "What team should I use" question, but more of a "should I even start a dynasty" question.
My graphics are pretty screwed up, (I posted a picture of it a while ago and it's in the technical issues forum) but I still have a strong urge to play the game and squeeze out what little worth it has.
Any suggestions? I'm really debating with myself over this.

its asdf...i say go for it if you got nothing better to do...if you're like me and should be memorizing every muscle of the human body (i hate anatomy courses) but have found yourself playing an unrealistic game (even more so than old versions) with bad graphics, i advise waiting for the patch and when you can get a better graphics card.

I'm a Portland fan (live in the NW) and it's good to see the Blazers getting some love....
As someone said, they won't be good, but they've got some exciting players. If you traded Randolph and Miles for a genuine superstar (as I'm hoping they will) they could do a little damage. But Randolph ain't bad as a primary option. Plan on sitting Miles a lot though--play Webster and Outlaw at the 3. Miles maybe as a backup 3/4.

Well Guys. I'm looking forward to starting a dynasty story.
I have a few teams to pick from. Tell me who you want me to do my dynasty on.
Washington Wizards.
Atlanta Hawks.
San Antonio Spurs.
Miami Heat.

Hawks
Wed Nov 01, 2006 9:45 pm
Wizards, they have two all stars and are ready to explode in the playoffs

Flash, do either wizards or hawks...spurs and heat are just too easy....

I typed something but it must not have gone through. So to abbreviate:
Starting new dynasty, want to be defensive, thinking Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, Orlando - suggestions?
Thu Nov 02, 2006 9:40 am
defensive? well the only one that has a good interior defender is Orlando, yea il go with that
Thu Nov 02, 2006 10:02 am
Yeah, the Magic... Dwight is mad but Darko is dope in terms of swatting people
Thu Nov 02, 2006 11:25 am
Here were my reasons for each, both as offensive weapons and defensive stallworts:
Seattle - Allen and Lewis to score; Swift/Sene/Petro to stop, with Lewis' height on the perimeter
Orlando - yeah, the two big guys and Ariza additionally on defense
Boston - Pierce and Jefferson to put up points, Perkins and a PG to stop would be solid
Atlanta - M Williams and Johnson to score with Josh Smith, a defensive centre and PG
I'm entertaining trading for Foyle for the centre role (along with a 1st round pick of course). I'm willing to shake up the rosters a bit to improve the defense.
Also, maybe Detroit, with the promise of Maxiell being revealed?
Thu Nov 02, 2006 11:34 am
Detroit sounds cool since its the end of an era for them... will the team stick together or will they disband one by one?
Mon Nov 06, 2006 2:28 am
I'm thinking between Miami and Philadelphia.
And maybe Bobcats.
Any suggestions?
Mon Nov 06, 2006 2:37 am
While playing live, I noticed that it's really fun to play with Iverson...
In your case I'd take Philly...
Mon Nov 06, 2006 5:31 am
IF you play bobcats thats some serious reconstruction to bench and starting line up and miami is already old , going to need a deep bench and a younger line up so its kinda easy to work around that since u have shaq to trade n etc
and philly as pursuer said yea they are fun i mean lobbing it to iggy in a play now game is fun
Thu Nov 09, 2006 2:44 am
I decided to go with Phila.
Starting, when i get my 07.
Sat Dec 23, 2006 2:19 am
I picked NO/OK Hornets. I'm sure that I made the right choice.
-The 1st things I did was getting rid of Stojakovic&Chandler. I traded them for Magloire&Stackhouse, whose contracts are expiring next year.
Sat Dec 23, 2006 4:26 am
I dont understand everyones gripe with chandler in game...he's not that bad. I dont blame ya for getting rid of peja though, never been able to get ahold of his style enough to use him well
Thu Jan 04, 2007 2:47 am
hey guys, i've been completely out of the NBA since it was stopped on danish TV in 2002, i am expecting NBA Live 07 to drop into my mailbox around friday afternoon and i want to start right away, so could anyone give me a tip on which team to take.. i'm looking for:
A team with a middle record, a team that could go into last spot of playoffs but not dominate, yet not completely suck.
A team with good allrounders, i don't one good player and some bad sidekicks, i want an allround team
And finally a team that isn't like 50 years old, a good mix of experience and youngsters
I know this is a tough one, but i would apreciate you help, also if someone could take the time to suggest me what to download in order to make the game better than EAs (probably) sucky rosters and AI
Thanks in advance, DOMOMAN a happy dane
