hopefully itll be able to take advantage of the PCs power..hey, with the price drops in PC hardware, theres no reason for a gamer not to have a decent rig..

I hope they add some intensity to the Game when you hit a buzzer or dunk on someone like crazy, for example Marv Albert: "OHHHHH KOBE BRYANT TAKING THE ELECTRICITY OUT OF THE BUILDING"

It gets annoying when you dribble and then hold the ball or fake it the defender gets on you and you HAVE TO pass the ball, that is STUPID.

Here is a link of the move which I really want to see implemented in the Game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC-kKQMue4g

It is MJ who does a fake on Eddie Jones with 1:15 seconds to go, he fakes his shot one way and when the player jumps he goes the other way for a lay-up.

Cool freestyle like that can make the game 4 times better.

hmm make the game harder :
1.make superstar less unstopable
2.most nba defence shouldnt be break by one player i want the player to use the playbook more to make it more needed
3.lower blocking and steal

3.primecy thingy
4.improve dynesty

I definetely agree with most of your suggestions.

And Andrew, what do you mean "better logic when it comes to free agency (good players not sitting in the free agent pool especially) and trades". I have Al Harrington sitting in the FA pool in my Dynasty, but he's expensive. Sure, his overall rating is high, but unless they add a position between SF (he's not fast enough and can't shoot well enough) and PF (he's not strong enough or a good enough rebounder/shot blocker), I don't see why he shouldn't be in the pool for $40 mil. over 5 years (even though the real life one is gonna get way more lol).

Unless you're talking about players that fit a specific need on a team for a good price (teams needing shooting not getting Nick Van Exel or Reggie Miller, even if they are old), then I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Your suggestions for the Dynasty mode are spot on.

And I like your suggestions on the extras Tuomas :) Those would definetely make the game's replayability soar.

REALISM!!! there should be a REAL SIM MODE where dunks arent that easy to make, shooting aint that gay and well scores should be lower and the game should be slower paced..so 3 modes then arcade..simulation and REALISM

I highly doubt someone as young and serviceable as Al Harrington would sit out multiple seasons because no one has cap space. In real life, there'd be a sign-and-trade (which looks to be what's going to happen, if it hasn't already; I'm a bit behind because I haven't had Internet access for the past week) or he'd sign for the MLE. Since the MLE is in NBA Live 07, that should remedy the problem.

Well, I'm mostly talking about that since those are the players who tend to sit in free agency. Players like Al Harrington generally re-sign with their current teams if no one else has space but in some cases will just sit on the free agency pool. And that's not realistic because they generally latch onto a team for the MLE, force a sign-and-trade or sucker a team with cap space to pay an obscene amount of money for them. Unwise? Sure, but true to life.

Hey andrew this is my first post to the site. so first off awesome job!! I have been hunting down live 07 info and this site has kept me on the up an up more than any other site! great job!

here's a question I have about the next gen...or possible current gen as well.

when you create a player do you know if you can use a pre-existing players shooting style? for example I create a player and want to use t-mac signature shooting style for my character. Possible:?:

Hey, nice question, I would like to know that too.

I don't think you can select one through CAP but if you're playing the PC version you'll be able to tinker with the dbf and change a player's style.

Wed Aug 16, 2006 9:51 am

oh I was speaking of the xbox360 so...oh well, I guess I will have my generic shooting form :-( or with luck maybe you'll be able to select some basic forms as with Fight Night Round3...with luck

hmmm..thought of another question. did ea mention anything about possibly sending fixes for bugs that may occur through xbox live or possible rating upgrades that may occur through out the season or maybe trades that occur. like maybe a roster update availabe through live?
also do you know if the espn integration will be available to all live members or those just with gold?

Wed Aug 16, 2006 11:08 am

They do anticipate releasing some roster updates but I don't know about any bug fixes for the console versions. We might be able to petition something for the PC but I must admit I'm not sure about the feasibility of bug fixes for the Xbox or PS2 versions.

ESPN Integration will be available to everyone worldwide.

first off thanks for your responses as you can tell I am really stoked about the upcoming release(does anyone really say stoked anymore?)
as far as the availability. I am sure everyone will have it. but will there be cost.
example xboxlive free membership gives you acess to downloads and gamer profile free..but playing people online requires gold
do you know if the integration will require the gold upgrade for membership or run and update with the free silver version. I know your more knowledgeable on the pc version but anything you know would be helpful

Wed Aug 16, 2006 11:18 am

As I said it will be for everyone, there won't be any cost involved. At least that's my understanding. ;)
