that does it i'm not buying live 08 some flaw in the team select screen under the espn classix logo there is a tiny blue spot under it pls remove it

That spot is a piece of the ESPN logo which the Classic logo sits atop. Unless Pat can somehow hex edit the Classic logo to cover it completely, you'll have to live with it.

Glad you guys are enjoying it thus far! Looking forward to fixing whatever bugs are there, etc.

Any chance it could be uploaded somewhere else i.e. Filefront? Nba-live.com can't support that sort of traffic, and I gave up when the download dipped to 0.9 kB/sec.

I am uploading to filefront. I bet they will disable my account for "maintenance" after a thousand people try to download it.

I don't know what to say, this is, this is the best patch ever! I'm really shocked! Fantastic lighting, cameras, 2x patches, tatoos, cyberfaces of course menu screens as well! Thanks for all your work guys, this patch is the greatest!!! :mrgreen

I have a problem with players faces. Not all players, just a few, like Diawara, Baston, Slokar or Garbajosa. They have green, orange or black faces like Spiderman . Please help!!

I think it's because we didn't get their cyberfaces in the mod, so they don't have a cyberface. We'll see if we can get them in an update, though. In the meantime, some people may have made a cyberface for them, so look/search around the announcements section.

Beware using the Houston Rockets will crash the game. I dont' know why because my other installation is fine, only my fresh install of Live with the SUM applied is having the problem.

I'm looking into it.

The problem with the Houston Rockets was again, the tattoo files. Dikembe Mutombo's leg tattoo file causes the crash. Delete it. Many tattoos may cause a crash.

I will try to fix them all by tommorrow, tomorrow, I'll fix them, tomorrow, it's only a day awaaaayyyyyy.

I just deleted all tatoo files, maybe check them all and realease it as 1 part?

Wow, the first thing that I noticed when I visited the site was it states that SUM is already released. And I said OMG!

At long last! The long wait is over!!! COOLNESS Awesome job to all those involved!!! Simply the best overall patch..Hands down


By the way, regarding the shoe files...This does not include the Real Shoe Patch, right? Will we be installing it as a separate file? Will this be compatible with the Accurate.bat?

Great patch, aside from a few random things like the player names on the stat overlay having a huge space between them and some FSS problems (Tim Duncan has none, for example).

The new art files are fantastic though .

EDIT: Also the Celtics are 90 overall and the Spurs 86, which doesn't make much sense.

cloudabove, you can select and deselect just about anything you don't want.
If we just released small packs then it wouldn't be a mod. It would just be like re-releasing other peoples mods. The whole point of the mod is to put everything in one file.

There was traffic on the transfer since a lot of us are downloading this.

Yupz~maybe fix some players' ratings in the upcoming versions.
For example like Kobe's passing is only 40, but quickness is 99, and Yao doesnt have any offensive FSS, etc.
Hmm~one more question for Pdub and SUM members~which file is FSS icons in? Coz I'm getting used to that default one

Pdub, Yea I know what your saying. All I'm saying is since you said the tatoos cause the game to crash, couldnt you just upload just the tatoos once your done? Since I dont wanna have to download it all over again.

P.S. Whats the file name where you can change the icon of the dice to a question mark?
It's the one where when you click it the game will select a random team 4 u

i have a question.. my graphics card doesnt support lighting and sweat, so if i installed this would i have problems in game? because i know there would be like invisilbe skin if there was sweat alphas in the cyberfaces..

Great job guys.

But there are some improvements that should be made:
-Should include the real shoes patch (all versions 5.0-7.1).
-An improved "All-Star Weekend" mode menu graphics. Also playing the All-Star game in this mode will cause a crash.
-Include Jimmy's roster and somebody continue to update it since Jimmy may be discontinuing it. I'm also hoping for more custom teams in it.

Please make those improvement if you can. Thanks.
